No silly! it has been verified in the New Testament which is an historical, scriptured Holy Bible. Several disciples wrote their gospels in the holy scripture...amen brother!
Now are you going to dispute their gospels as lies? What would be their motivation for lying? Do you know that they themselves were also crucified for spreading the gospel? Now what would motivate these disciples knowing that their lives were in danger for spreading the gospel? If it was a lie, who in their right mind would continue to spread the gospel? It's obvious why they did it, it's because they were spreading the truth and nothing but the truth so help me Lord!!
What about the Gnostic Gospels? Where do those rank? Why should they be left out? The Gospels of Judas, Thomas, and Philip are quite interesting. Ever research them? Paints a whole different picture of Jesus. And the possibility he was married to Mary Magdalene. Could be wrong. But, what if Jesus was just a man who was alive at a certain point in history? I think he delivered a great message to all of us. We'd be well served to follow it, but it won't happen.

There is a place for science and a place for religion in everyones life.
Science should NEVER try and answer certain questions about life, namely, science cannot tell me how i should live my life from a moral stand point.
A couple of pages back you you said that science would sugjest that you not pay your lunch bill,i asked you how or why you thought that.I'm still waiting for a answer.

Rostos, you used the example of raping a little girl to talk about your point. I don't need society or religion to tell me thats wrong. I was never told by my parents as a child that that was wrong, but as a human being it is something inherit within me to know things like that are wrong. Religion doesn't tell me that. And you're smart enough to know it doesn't.
And if needed, we can dive into the millions that Christianity killed for their own supposed righteous beliefs. Maybe they were wrong.
Thanks you, case closed. See that KittyKatz?

Spend a week with any human being and they will break one of God's laws. The disiples spent 3 years with Jesus and he didnt break any. If someone didnt break a commandment for 3 years, there is a good chance they havent broken one at all..

No buddy, you said that science would suggest that you "not pay for diner"
Evolution is all about survival of the fittest and doing things that will benefit me, ie, opposite of "altruism". What i did was nothing to do with altruism, but the point is that it was unselfish behaviour does not support evolution

You are not permitted to use unverified claims as evidence for more unverified claims.

No. WRONG. Unselfish behavior does support evolution and survival of the fittest. If I stole from everyone and didn't give a shit, people would steal from me. If I murdered on a whim, I'd live my life in constant fear of being murdered. However, I think to myself "how can I best increase my chances of survival?" And naturally, humans reach the conclusion that working together is the best solution where instead of each person trying to gain everything, each person gets a somewhat equal share of things (I know the world isn't this ideal, but we're not focusing on the distribution of wealth here). So, naturally, I want to help others with the belief they will help me. I want to go back and pay the bill at the restaurant because I know that if I were in the waiter's shoes, I'd want my customer to do the same thing.
Stop trying to invoke science into explaining things it isn't intended to explain. Science explains "how" not "why."

wrong wrong wrong... Darwin from day one heard this argument and irked him like hell !!! EVOLUTION is about ADAPTING TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT, not even the strongest can always do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and yes, altruism does at times play a role in our hedonistic selfish desires...

The point of evolution is to survive and pass on your OWN genes. If i was walking past a house and saw a lady in there trapped in a fire, it would go against evolutionary theory to go in there, risk my life (therefore risk the chance of not able to pass my genes) and save her, Evolution CANNOT explain altrustic behaviour.

Your heroic behavior would be seen as desireable, there by increasing your chances at spreading your seed. It's also in Mans best interest to keep the community safe. Back in the day, saving the women meant saving yourself/clan, that instinct is still strong. This is all very simple.
No one can win this conversation and change the other persons mind.

So why cant i use the bible as the source of truth.
Give me one good reason why i cant?
Because it's not sound knowledge. It doesn't even pass the logic test, let alone stand up to any kind of scientific scrutiny.
You can't pick and choose what parts of the bible to believe. You either believe it all or none. You must believe that men lived to be several hundreds of years old, that we all come from the insectious children of Adma and Eve etc.
Moral messages aside, it is complete fiction.

U fool.
So the first thing i think about is if i see a lady in a house fire, "i am gonna go in there, risk my life cause i might get laid".
What about that American Soldier (RIP) 3-4 years ago that jumped on the grenade to absorb the explsion to save his mates. Was he thinking about how that act will save allow him to pass his genes on? How does EVOLUTION EXPLAIN THAT?

There are 2 ways i can answer this.
1. Go and do some research first before you continue to embarress yourself.
2. Or i can teach you. The Bible is Accepted as a source of truth by the majority of accredited historical scholars. Science? Just like many scientists believed that the universe was eternal, well, scientists have now found out "there was a beginning". There are hundreds of fulfilled prophecies in the bible. Go and read them. What are you going to say next? They were just lucky?
