Ok, here's a question, have people died or had bad things happen to them even after they have been prayed for?
Absolutely. It was only 2 weeks ago i was at church and bumped into a "distant cousin" of mine. She is about 6 years older than me and we sort of grew uo together....Anyways, i hadnt seen her for a good 15 years. It was the first time i had seen her 2 children. One is 6 and the other is 13. Anyways, she was 39 years of age and i was happy to see her....The very next day she got the flu and passed away (RIP) very suddenly leaving behind a devasted husband and 2 young girls.....
So what is your point?

That's my point, prayer doesn't do anything but make people feel better...so even if my child was in an accident and I got on my knees and prayed for him it would change he fact that he was hurt. My prayer wouldn't change a thing...and if I prayed it wouldn't prove there was a god, even if he turned out to be ok after the prayer

faith needs no defense. faith by definition is a belief not based on proof, therefore it cannot be contradicted nor can it be PROVEN to be correct. discussing it with you is a fruitless exercise.

Belief in God is not about prosperity in life. Believing or not believing in God based on a prosperous life IS not faith but belief and non belief based on emotion. Prayer has to do with asking for forgiveness and WHILE LIVING asking God for the very basics to live. Ultimately God gives life and he redeems life as it is in his plans. He is under no obligation to prolong or extend anyones life. Someone dying does not disprove God even though they prayed to live longer....

3/4 of your statement is true, except for the last part...There are many non believers on here, believers in God are stewards of God to spread the good news, especially if i see it being attacked.
You said you have read my posts, if you dont believe then you dont believe, it is ultimately your choice. There is no need to get angry. If i turn on a channel on TV and i dont like what i am seeing, i simply turn it off or change the channel. I dont sit down for 1/2 an hour and complain at the TV for what is on.

So if you don't ask for basics you won't get them It's funny, I have a better life since I stopped praying then I did when I prayed...
Ultimately God gives life and he redeems life as it is in his plans.
So we have no say in it...therefore praying is useless...so we agree
He is under no obligation to prolong or extend anyones life.
Never said he was (if there was such a thing)
Someone dying does not disprove God even though they prayed to live longer....
And it doesn't prove there is a god if someone prays because their child is in danger...and it doesn't even mean that they truly believe...they are just vulnerable...

"Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind."
Albert Einstein
In the same letter he also says
""The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of
human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still
primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No
interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this."

You are free to believe in whatever you want to believe in.....
Just like me, you will also eventually die and you will eventually find out. Best of luck to you.
Oh I'm scared now, because if I die and I'm wrong and there is a God, then without a doubt it will be the Christian God. No other possible Gods could exist at all ever.
I did a youtube video asking Christians what they would do if God told them that it does defiantly exist but there was no afterlife. You know how many answers I got from Christians? None. Your only reason for believing in God is because you are scared to die. If we lived forever, what reasons do you have to believe in God?

What an absolutely stupid comment, absolutely stupid.
Why would God exist and no afterlife? ...What would be the purpose of this world?
That is honestly one of the most stupidist things i have ever heard.
So now you are making a judgement on me implying that i am scared to die.
One of the rules of the bible is not to judge...
