CMo256, you are a total puke !!  Why would YOU feel the need to post a response like that when someone is going through a tough time and looking for any kind of closure!  Total scumbag dude!  Im just floored by some of the audacity people have!  If I were a lesser man, I would say that it probably would of been better off if it were you that has passed away.  But I think that may be too harsh so I wont say that.....Im hoping this shot across the bow makes you realize that your comment was beyond uncalled for.  I just hope you are one of those people that can be honest with themselves and realize when they spoke out of line.  Anyways, my condolences to you raging.  Keep on keeping on my man!  And go anywhere and to anyone to get the kind of solace you seek in this hard time.  I commend you for your strength thus far!

if it was worse then or losing him when I would be older....

When I lost my best friend (dropped me home 1 night and didnt make it home, was in a car accident) I loved having people around who knew him.

My father passed away in 1999. What you will find as time moves on is your fond memories will have you telling stories about him at different places and you will laugh and smile and he is with you always.

My father sits on my right shoulder and my grandmother on my left.

Quick story. My dad was in my life for the first six years of it.Then he and my mom broke up. I didn't see him for the next 30 yrs of my life. When we finally reconnected, I was married with a child..For some of those years I hated him..Just as I started to get to know him again he passed away..That was three years ago and I still miss him.Especially on Thanksgiving..He would always come over and watch the football games with me and my brother..Hug your parents, call your parents..It's never too late!
