it's amazing that this prick bin laden is supposedly still alive out there..... I am from NY but have never visited the 9/11 site. Don't think I want to or ever will.

Wow! has it been 6 years. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was signing my sublease the night of the 10th before I started working in a few weeks. The place was in Tribeca. The guys I were with were getting ready for the Giants/Denver game but I decided to head home to my parent's house in DC just on a whim. I should of stayed there but for some reason I wanted to go home.
I am driving home along the NJT and hear that McCaffery has destroyed his leg and think. "crap there goes my fantasy team". I get home about 1 AM and go to bed. The next thing I know my Dad wakes me up and says that he is glad I came home last night since a plane just crashed in the WTC.
Makes you really think sometimes.
to all those that have lost loved ones.

Thinking about that day still gets my blood boiling. I have a nephew on the way who was supposed to be born this morning. Luckily, they've decided to induce labor tomorrow. I was glad he won't end up a 9/11 baby. I'd hate for his birthday to be associated with such a tagic day.

Chillery's 9/11 memory: I was working that mourning at LAX for a catering company. And yes American Airlines was our main account at that time. I remember my supervisor coming down stairs from the break room and telling everyone that an AA plane just ran into the world trade center. And of course at the time no one know what was happening, so of course all the light hearted jokes were coming out about the pilot must be drunk or was getting head from flight attendant, etc. Then a few minutes later my supervisor told us that another AA plane hit the other tower. Then everyone got serious cause something was obviously wrong. Then my computer that I was working at said all flights are cxld for the day. So I called AA operations and they informed me of the situation (terrorist flying AA planes and using them as weapons). Needless to say all employee's were sent home and we were not allowed to come back to work for 3 days. The irony of it all to me is that I had worked on the actual planes many, many of times in the past that the terrorist flew that dreadful day. I recognized the flight numbers and the tail numbers of those planes used. Anyway thats my memory, and I will never forget.
