Robertson said Haitians had collectively "sworn a pact to the devil," which brought on the country's extreme poverty and the earthquake.

"Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French ... and they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, 'We will serve you if you will get us free from the French.' True story. So the devil said, 'OK, it's a deal.'"

"Ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after another," Robertson said.

This mutherfucker uses celebratory emoticons with regard to a catastrophic natural disaster in a country that is easily amongst poorest in the world. Do you understand children in Haitian classrooms had concrete and steel fall on their heads? Churches, yes CHRISTIAN CHURCHES in Haiti (they do exist despite what Robertson says) collapsed on their congregation...but that did not lead to instant death...church members will be paralyzed but will live and eventually die in several DAYS while in unspeakable pain due to thirst. 

And you honestly believe, a Christian "all-loving all-merciful omniscient" god is looking down upon this saying "My will be done." What a twisted, contorted, contradictory view of the world and life you have. 

If there is an omnipotent god, and as the Bible states, and is of great wrath, let the alleged insignificant emoticons you just posted, posted as a statement of celebration, jubilation, and happiness, in the face of other human beings unspeakable pain, be recorded and used as evidence as you stand in front the almighty you believe in on judgement day. Let the scales, be even in weight at that moment, and let them tip in an infinitesimally small way, in favor of you being cast into hell fire for the eternity you believe exists because of this posting. Yes, let it be so.

And it goes without saying, let the above apply to the psycho babbler Robertson.

where's cacab?  we have a clear cut dark horse winner in the nutjob sweepstakes?  not kid rio, not even barry or that other guy.  jerryrice by a landslide (although i hate saying that because i loved jerry rice). 

jerry, you should change your covers name to reggiewhite which is more consistent with your religion/hatred/ignorance angle.  can you do that for us?

The Bible was written so poorly that anything could made out of it's nonsense. The only thing that came to be from the bible is that millions of weak-minded fools would follows it's ass-backwards contradictions.

If there ever was a "Jesus" my guess is that he was a slight of hand magician that amazed the feeble minded and angered the scholars. This makes more sense than the jibberish and lies in the "Good Book"

Pat Robertson is an old fool.  He had to go way back to drag this up.  How can he condemn a whole country (small thought it be) for the actions of a few hundreds of years ago?  As a "live and let live" person I believe that anyone should follow the religious persuasion of their choice.  I was raised by parents (sort of fanatics) that preached "you're going to hell if you don't belong to our (the only true) church".  I guess he dreamed up a condemnation for New Orleans when Katrina (with the help of lousy levee protection by the U. S. Corps of Engineers) was inundated.  I cannot stand ANY  "Holier than thou" assholes like this, no matter the race, creed or denomination.  He will get his, in this world or the next.  As we all will, I'm sure.

I'm disturb. I for one believe in God, etc., a greater meaning. (that's another story), but what he said only shows that he's evil, makes me sick that he walks around freely enjoying life after saying what he says.
