Does anyone remember that when someone got banned, they used a picture of a graveyard with tombstones as their avatar?

Commercialization always ends up winning in the end.

This is easily the biggest difference between then and now.   The place has always had no shortage of bad posts, especially in the specific sports betting discussion areas, but GD is now a shell of what it was.

    It was awesome.
There would always be like 15 shots of an average broad from somewhere. And each picture had to be viewed separately and they took 30 seconds to load each.

We actually stopped the babe of the day because of a couple of the pics. It was just a feed we got from somewhere else and a couple of pics showed up of girls that no way were 18+.  Also the ads were switching from gamblng to mainstream so had to appease them also.

Didn't we also get to 'rate' the babe of the day?

I think the rating system went from 1-10 and if I clicked '4' for any one of them, I was being generous.  An average of a high '6' would be a bombshell by 'babe of the day' standards.

I also remember they came out with videos too.

Some of them were: "Let me go gyrate by this brick wall over here in this random parking lot." Bizarre stuff as to what they thought the viewer would like.

I swear one of them was shot by a pool at a Motel 6.

Lipps, I remember making a thread complaining about an underage scantily clad babe of the day.

She had to be all of 15.

LOL.  The last time I saw him here he was showing the "Divorced" avatar.  He was a good cat.  Hope he checks in again sometime.

Didn't want the site to get in trouble honestly because I know they weren't monitoring it.

Hahaha really glad you brought that up. Great memories on this site used to read the forums every day starting at about 16 years old but didn't register until much later

There certainly used to be a lot more focus on actual wagering and it was a heck of a lot funnier.  I still remember where I was the day a stumbled across the "Cop Killer/ Taco Bell" thread.  I thought I was going to hurt myself.  I'm probably lucky I didn't get fired.  It's still probably the funniest thing I've ever seen on the internet.

Seems like the average age of the posters has dropped from about 35 to about 22 (and that factors-in Don Juan, whose like 105), and the difference is profound.  I recall fondly those carefree days when you could always count on Ziggy to "put a pinky in the pooper" of whatever skank broad had been posted that morning.   I miss that.
