Yes you are because the same question is asked by eye-rolling bigots and reeks of the self-victimized Straight nin-black middle-class male.

It doesn't deserve an answer because the larger question of how conditions came to be for perceived 'advantages' for these group all stem from the bigots through history, and are perpetuated by people like you and your 'elbow to the ribs of your buddy, get a load of this Collins guy' question.

You're a hero for standing up to those who would deny you equal rights.

You're a hero to intimidated young kids who are afraid to come out because of bullies and bigots.

If you are genuinely okay with it and don't discriminate or persecute or bully or intimidate, and grant equal rights, then that's cool.

But there are those that do discriminate, persecute, bully, intimidate and refuse g@ys equal rights. If you wold have a talk with them about tolerance of differences in America, then g@ys wouldn't have to make an issue out of it.

If it were up to the majority, blacks still wouldn't have the vote. They might still be in chains. Sometimes the law needs to step in and protect the minority from the majority.

The Greeks, Romans, and Babylonians all allowed the deviants to flourish and their civilizations were ruined.  After that, societies decided to sublimate such behavior.  Permitting 5% of the population to be so onerously upfront about themselves is to invite perdition.

Actually, my question was 75-25, with the g ay part being the 75 and race being 25. The question was will his race actually benefit him in the "g ay spotlight".

I dont know why you need to bring up Martin Luther King Jr, the Watts riots, slavery and all the ways whitey has plotted and schemed to keep black people down.....

Not sure why you think your opinion, and it is just that, about all things racial is correct. Just because you spew this stuff doesnt negate the fact you lack common sense and the ability to see the forest.

History is opinion when you have a question like: "Why did the Berlin Wall come down?"

History is not opinion when you state a fact of what occurred in empirical terms like, "Segregation existed in America post-Emancipation from xxxx...."(I'd keep going but for what reason, it won't help people like you).

That is not an agenda.

And again, who is 'whooping' anyone? Do you really value that parasite WMI that much? Are you deluded by Slovak's opinion (another bigot...of course)?

But at least the media is making this non-story front page news by making into a hero a washed up, bench-warming, pole smoking athlete who likes receiving anal sex.

"Segregation existed in america" is a really broad scope. Did it exist everywhere? Was it worse in some places? Whats that have to do with Collins announcing he is g ay?
