When I was a kid, my mom taught me to do 3 things when I heard a police, fire or ambulance siren.

#1 Say a prayer for those in need of the help.
#2 Say a prayer for those rushing to the incident.
#3 Say a prayer for all the families involved.

To this day, I still do it every time I hear a siren. I believe we are helping people we will never know & never meet while hoping someone I don't know does it for me if I am ever in need.

Early in my career we were taken over by another company & the headquarters were being moved from Hollywood, FL to Miami. 

People were concerned about the move & the changes that would take place as well as none of us were bilingual (spoke Spanish).

This older Jamaican women told me "Don't worry boss. The new broom sweeps clean but the old one knows the corners."

Have never forgotten that one.

Only speak to the Po-lease if you have to and with an attorney present.  

I respect police and their job, but if you're in trouble they are not trying to be your friend.  

Heed the first sentence in the Miranda warning.  Be respectful, polite but keep your mouth shut.  

I've been arrested numerous times with no record to show for it by following this advice.

Not that I was ever any good at it....BUT, here it goes just the same....Stock market, real estate, collectibles, precious metals, etc....BUY LOW..SELL HIGH
