It's just that the odds swung a bit to the field as of late which points to someone other than Lesnar.
Although I will say this and I want to reiterate it: WWE owes the fans a Rumble Refund after last year's debacle. Lesnar would be the perfect refund.

Sheamus - We just had I Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns at TLC and on Raw. Selling a rematch for Wrestlemania 32 would be a really hard sell.
Dean Ambrose - I believe he’s a main eventer and would be my choice if I had a say in the decision. I think Ambrose vs. Reigns would be a great Wrestlemania main event. I don’t think Vince looks at him as face of the WWE material.
The Undertaker - It would be awesome to see the dead man to main event Wrestlemania one last time. I doubt Vince would put the
Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns. All the work Vince put in to get the fans to cheer on Reigns would go in the toilet.
Chris Jericho - He’s a wrestling legend that’s upper mid-card part-timer. He always performs for a few months and leaves to work something else. His main event days are over.
Kevin Owens - He’s been demoted to mid-card status after the Cena feud. No chance in hell that Vince puts him in the main event at Wrestlemania 32.
1.Brock Lesnar
2.Triple H
3.The Rock
4.Bray Wyatt
5.Roman Reigns
Now the list is down to only five real possibilities. When you say you’re betting the field over Brock Lesnar. You’re betting that the bottom four will possibly win. You’ve already said that you don’t believe Reigns will win, again. And, I agree with you on that. That eliminated it down to three real possibilities.
Bray Wyatt - Triple H - The Rock
Bray Wyatt - Wyatt and Reigns have wrestled at Hell in a Cell and Battleground. I don’t think Vince would book another matchup between them.
Triple H - This is a real possibility. There is already an angle between these two. If Lesnar doesn’t win, my money is on Triple H. This match is extremely marketable.
The Rock - A match between the Rock and Reigns would put the Rock as face and Reigns as a heel. I think this matchup has a great story line angle. You could really push Reigns over with a win over the Rock at Wrestlemania 32. This match is highly unlikely but it would be interesting.
It’s going to be Brock Lesnar, Triple H, or The Rock headlining Wrestlemania 32. My money is on Brock Lesnar winning the Royal Rumble and headlining Wrestlemania 32 against the Undertaker or Roman Reigns for the WWE world heavyweight championship. It’s the only two realistically possible matches that will get the most amount of main stream attention.
Vince needs to get a matchup that will be talked about on Sportscenter, Sportsnation, and Good Morning America etc. By betting on the field over Brock Lesnar, you’re betting that the Rock will win the Royal Rumble. Is that what you’re thinking, Scalabrine?
