WWE Survivor Series...Potential ISIS Target

Scary to think that any event with a ton of people involved is now a potential target for ISIS and I obviously hope nothing goes wrong.

The show is still expected to go on so that means we have lines so for those interested in the discussion...here we go.

Reigns wins.

Ambrose wins.

Reigns was the easy choice before Seth went down. He was scheduled to beat Rollins but now, leading up to the match, they're thinking about putting Ambrose over and I could see that for sure. It makes sense to keep building Reigns up and then having him lose because eventually fans may feel he's being disrespected like Daniel Bryan and actually get behind him. Or...give him the title as a heel. Ambrose will go over no matter if he's a face or heel so they can also make him a heel, join the authority and win the title. It's more likely, however, that Reigns wins and has a big title match at WM as he's expected to hold the title longer than Punk did.

Breeze probably gets put over here. Ziggler is always in the dog house.

I can't see Charlotte losing after the segment on Raw where Paige brought up Reid Flair saying that "he didn't have much fight in him" and made that personal. I always like when they bring out of the ring stuff to the show. Ric apparently didn't know about it, though, and wasn't too thrilled about it.

Can't imagine Taker and Kane losing but I remember a long time ago when The Rock and Mick Foley came back for one PPV match and lost to Orton and Rhodes (I think it was) and put them over. Not to mention Taker already beat Bray at WM this year. But with this being the 25th Anniversary of The Undertaker...you can't have him lose, right?

Sparky you really think Ambrose could go over? We know Reigns will be in the final. 100% guaranteed so we're only betting one match.

I just can't see Ambrose him holding the title. His best move is that little rope dive and that has become a mockery on smark sites.

How do you tell Reigns, who they literally had penciled in as champion the minute he won the Rumble, he won't be getting it AGAIN?

Asking this because -215 is a great price for something I think should be more around -500 which is unbettable.

We know they can't make Owens champ with a belt already if he happened to make it to the final (and the wwe got him to just barely sneak by Neville who we know they can't put the title on right now).

Just can't see Reigns going down here. Too confident in this???

With all the heels holding titles, it makes sense for Reigns to win this but and Ambrose heel turn seems inevitable now because Reigns has nobody else to feud with since they just did the Wyatt thing with him and Ambrose simply turning heel to feud with Reigns doesn't make sense unless HE is the one with the title.

Just my thoughts.

Just to be clear, does a site like 5dimes pay that out for those who picked reigns if technically he wins the tournament.???

I've bet on some crazy sh!t but I draw the line at wrestling.

Slobbasaurus, Well, I feel more confident betting on these predetermined outcomes because if you read the storyline you know what's likely to happen next. Obviously you won't be 100% but you'll make money more times than not. And they have a cap limit so it's not like you can bet the house on anything. Parlay who you think will win and you should make a few bucks. It's much more predictable than sports. 

Don't worry, everything's alright. The event is going to go on as scheduled. Turns out it was just The Iron Sheik carrying a folding chair. But Sgt. Slaughter put him in a Camel Clutch, so that settles that.....

Reigns sold me with his little teary eyes at the end, though. I was impressed. If he keeps getting screwed, he may have the Daniel Bryan treatment from the fans and they may finally get behind him. The problem is that everyone knows that he's a favorite and will eventually get it.

Took your advice and Sparky and went with Reigns even though I was afraid of the cash-in which happened as you speculated.

It was graded a win.

This was the first event in a long, long time where there were no true leaks, except for Taker/Kane which was obvious.

I got Reigns at -210 right after the Taker match which is pretty insane since results always leak at that point (i.e., odds usually shoot up to -2000/-6000 on 5 Dimes).

I have no idea how Ziggler became the favorite there. I HATE his gimmick right now without a valet. He looks like he's stuck in the mid-80's with that attire and hair. Whoever thought that was a good idea compared to the original show-off gimmick is a fool.

And Roman took a nasty shot to the head when it hit the mat (he oversold it hard) to give Sheamus the title.

I don't know how the WWE gets away with letting these guys wrestle with concussions. And if that wasn't a partial concussion, I don't know what is.

AND NO ISIS ATTACKS?!?!?!

Hundreds of thousands of people attending football,  basketball, and hockey games today, and millions more watching, yet ISIS would prefer to make a "statement" with 8,000 people in attendance and maybe Sparky, Scalabrine, and 3 other "pre-pubes" paying to watch on PPV......

As for Ziggler, he was at the top of his game when he had AJ and the MITB case and was a heel but they just don't know what to do with him and don't trust him with his concussion history so I don't know what they plan on doing with him. Not to mention the Lana/Rusev news getting out hurt his run and now he's in the middle of nowhere.

And as far as Reigns goes...I think he'll win the title before or at the Rumble. He's now the record holder for most eliminations in a single Rumble match so they could technically add to his push by having him win back to back Rumbles but I don't think they want to put him through limbo again where anything can happen with their creative decisions between the Rumble and WM.

Also, a lot less play acting and simulated prison sex too, plus football/basketball/baseball players are fully clothed......

The attendance last night was probably more than any Hawks or Thrashers game had over the last 20 years, just sayin.......
