Yes she does.  I do not keep any secrets from my wife.  I will tell her which team I bet if the game is on TV but I will not tell her the amount wagered.

Hey, I was BLITZED (a lot more than usual) when I posted that pic.  I think the Mods liked it too because it took them like three hours to take it down.

That was a couple years ago so she was 49.  I think it's a damn nice rack for a woman her age.  I especially like her nipples.  Don't you think so?

Fair enough. I'm proud of my wife's boobies too.....

    Next question:
Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, John Bonham

You can only talk to ONE intimately and face-to-face, and they'll answer any ONE question you have.
Who do you pick, and what do you ask?

I know Pisano.  And I've made that peace with my soul...  Not my fault.  But I will never have THE answer WHY?  The Police investigation was intensive and still came up with no reason.  No suicide note, no drug overdosing, no blackmail, no NOTHING.  It really haunts me that I'll never know exactly WHY.

    Beatles fan?

    Lennon fan?

    Whatchu think of Bon Scott?

When the Beatles hit the Ed Sullivan Show I was only eight years old so I was totally oblivious to what they had already accomplished in the German Clubs.  I can remember spinning the 45 of "I want to hold your hand" a hundred times in a row.  As the band grew I could never comprehend all the love for McCartney.  Beatles fan?  I guess so but I liked the Rolling Stones more.  Definitely a Lennon fan because he knew at age 16 exactly where he was going and who could argue with that kind of "in your face" cocky confidence.  So when John said "Bye-Bye" to Paul I wasn't surprised.  I also remember having an argument with my older cousin as to who was the most talented Beatle.  I told him Harrison would eclipse BOTH John and Paul.  And when "All Things Must Pass" was released it was TOTAL VINDICATION.

Bon Scott.  If there ever was a Rags to Riches story this one is in the top three of all time.  From third rate drummer and limousine driver to...

    Highway to Hell Album

Just goes to show it's not what you know but who you know.

33 way too young to die.

SORRY VETDRM BUT I FORGET THE BEST PART...

You MUST add a shot of Grand Marnier because it MAKES the drink.  Now these
Corporate Fukks™, Chili's, used to serve the shot of Grand Marnier in a little clear plastic pepper that hung from the side of the Margarita.  Some Corporate bean counter determined that these three cent plastic peppers were costing the Corporation an extra $300,000 a year so they ELIMINATED the plastic peppers.  Now, nobody buys the extra shot of Grand Marnier and they're LOSING $3m in sales.  Great Math decision you Corporate Fukks™.  So always order your Margarita with a shot of Grand Marnier IN A SEPARATE SHOT GLASS.  Don't let them pre-mix it.  That way you'll know it's real Grand Marnier and not some cheap imitation!

    Next question:
Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, John Bonham

You can only talk to ONE intimately and face-to-face, and they'll answer any ONE question you have.
Who do you pick, and what do you ask?

This one will probably surprise you but here goes... Page and Plant were acquitted in a court of law and charges  dropped of plagiarizing Stairway to Heaven opening riffs from the group Spirit's song Taurus.  Since Bonham is dead and Page and Plant already testified in court... I want John Paul Jones.  I want to stare him in his eyes intimately and ask him, "In your Heart and Soul do you believe Stairway to Heaven was Plagiarized?"

Is Belize still part of your not too distant future?

Yes Belize is still in my future.  Expected to be there by now but life keeps throwing me screwballs.  It's been one problem after another but that's what life does to people.  There are four important other people in my life and I REFUSE to abandon anybody.  My two parents, who I've finally gotten together in a top shelf retirement home.  Big obstacle out of the way there.  My wife and my 24 year old handicapped son.  Medical problems with my son are intensifying so that's a big concern that has to get reversed and will be with the proper therapy.  Three properties had to be sold.  Two down, one to go.  Inch by inch and step by step it's finally coming together.  My plan is to get there this coming winter for a month or two and set the table for my wife and son to join me in Belize.  I'm liking everything I hear about Placencia and the cost of living sure beats any of the Cayes.  If anybody has further thoughts on Belize it would be appreciated.

With your net worth reaching close to 1m (congrats on that BTW, quite an accomplishment), I have some questions about that.

    Do you feel wealthy?

Does 1m in net worth feel like you thought it would feel like when you used to dream about being a millionaire?

Does having 1m make you feel secure enough to take some chances?

I think I know the answer to these questions.  I always hear people talk about "millionaires", but I don't think they realize that it doesn't afford nearly as many luxuries as they think.

You gave me a chuckle on this one vanzack.

NO I CERTAINLY DO NOT FEEL WEALTHY!!!

My net worth has been basically stagnant for the last ten or twelve years.  I got lucky with a couple real estate deals earlier in life but took a whipping when GWB left the stock market DOW at $6K.  That was absolutely BRUTAL.  Figuring inflation and cost of living $900K is hardly a King's Ransom these days.

I made a decision to retire early and spend more time with my wife, aging father, and disabled son.  Absolutely no regrets.  Family always first.  The money goes fast as you spend it down and that's why the net worth has remained stagnant.

We do not live what I would call a lavish lifestyle.  Try to be very frugal with monetary decisions and serious risk taking at my age is out of the question.  When you're younger you can afford to take the risks because you have the time and energy to work harder.

Heell, I made a $500 basketball total wager a few days ago and was on the edge of my seat the entire game.  Won the wager by one point.  I'm comfortable with my little $50 to $200 wagers.

We drive inexpensive vehicles.  I've got a 16' Maxima, Wifey a small 14' Mercedes GLK, and a 10' Accord which will run forever.  Treats for us is dinner out three nights a week and we're all happy.  Feel secure but clearly not wealthy that's for certain.

    Very Good Questions.

New Question:    So, with your nice net worth. How specifically are you investing?  . Mutual funds, dividend payers, fixed income? ...Gold?  Silver?  Cash?   Gotta be something to generate income...

Awhile back you listed some of your favorite POT stocks you were either buying or watching for an entry point.

Are they up or down or flat on the whole?

Let's someone in this form asked which of them you thought were the absolute best right now, to buy?

In 5 years pot will be legal in every state........The states without will be losing so  much revenue.....Anybody in any dry state will call their buddy in legal states and ask a favor for them to go buy some and simply send it Fedex.

How about one that is impossible because you don't know WHY?  If you don't know WHY something happened and there is no way you will ever know WHY it happened... it haunts you forever.

What was your darkest hour MB?

Ricky I tried to write this last night and just couldn't work my way through it.  By far this is the most darkest and depressing event of my life and still haunts me forty years later.

It was the best of times.  My Senior year of High School was a breeze.  My best friend Bill lived in one of the nicest mansions in town.  His father was a big VP at Aetna Insurance.  Four car garage to work on cars and we rebuilt his 69 GTO and our bud Brian's 67 Vette to be the sweetest cars in town.  If anybody in school needed car work, we were the go to guys.

On Bill's property was also a stable that housed their six horses.  Let me tell you, in case you don't have a clue, horses are BABE MAGNETS.  Better than money, better than cars, better than drugs, horses are the best.  We didn't play sports, had no extracurricular activities, so we took babes double back riding after school and worked on cars at night.

After graduation Bill was heading back to Texas to take care of family business and I had already been accepted at Bentley College in Boston.  We were both In Like Flynn and life was great.

Back on the other side of town in my neighborhood there were a couple Juniors and Sophomores who had a rock band and they were good.  They were VERY GOOD.  The Lead Guitar Randy was excellent.  Peter on Keyboards was phenomenal.  "Goober" on Bass and "Sticks" on Drums were OK.  But the Straw that Stirred the Drink was Brett, the Rhythm Guitar and Front Man.  Now what caught my interest was they played tunes I actually liked... ALLMAN BROTHERS!!!  "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", "Whipping Post", "Rambling Man".  HEELL YEAH!!!

So I started hanging more with these guys.  They looked up to me because I was older and Brett would take my advice on tunes.  I would help with the roadie work and of course all summer long we partied our azzes off.  Even hooked Brett up with an old bakery truck that Bill fixed up to haul their equipment.

Well, all good things eventually must come to an end.  Bill was headed for Texas, me to Boston, and the band still stuck in High School.  Not that far for me to drive so I used to come back every couple weeks.  Life moves on, right?

Decided to stay in Boston one weekend instead of coming home.  Peter gives me a call on a Sunday morning and tells me Brett is missing.  "WTF you talking about, missing?"  "Well he never came home last night".  "So what?  He's shacked up with some babe and will probably come stumbling home today.  Talk with you later".

Monday, still no Brett.  Tuesday, still no Brett.  Ok, now I'm a little concerned.  Just not like Brett to blow everybody off, miss school and not even show up for band practices.

The Police found Brett the next weekend.  Suicide.  He stuck a shotgun in his mouth and blew his head off.

Nobody knew WHY.  WHY WOULD HE DO THIS?  When I got the news I just sat in my dorm room and sobbed for hours.  There were no warning signs.  No signs of any trouble.  WHY???

Then I start thinking, what if I had come home that Friday night instead of staying in Boston?  Would it, could it have not happened?  Sounds silly but I KNOW there would have been a Friday night practice if I was there.  No, I know it's silly to think things could have been different but still these thoughts run through your mind when you lose a friend by suicide.

The most difficult part is NOT KNOWING WHY.  WHY, WHY, WHY did Brett do this???  Forty years later and still have no answers.  Never will.  And that HAUNTS THE HELL out of me for the rest of my life.

    That, was my darkest hour.

Unreal POST GG..thx for sharing this.......

I love that answer Goose - you're a lot classier than me. I would've asked John Bonham about the groupie and the mudshark.....

    OK.  Back to business.

Needed a day off and spent it at Foxwoods to unwind.

70% of our net worth is invested in a variety of Mutual Funds that run different sectors.  I handle all our own investments in two different E-Trade Accounts.  15% still in one housing property currently on the market.  I am also holding PHYSICAL GOLD & SILVER and Cash CD's that right now make up the other 15%.

Pot Stocks that I am holding right now are TWMJF, CBWTF, BLOZF, and TRTC.

We still don't know how Trump and his imbecile Attorney General Sessions are going to react with all the many States going Recreational Legal.  And don't forget the the ENTIRE COUNTRY of CANADA goes Recreational Legal in July of 2018!!!

Short List of Pot Stocks to KEEP CLOSE watch...  ACBFF, AMFE. AMMJ, APHQF, CBIS, CGRW, EMHTF, HLSPY, IMLFF, KSHB, LBUY, MEDFF, MNTR, OGRMF, PRMCF, SPRWF, THCBF, VBIO, XXII.

Expect these Pot Stocks to do the same in June of 2018 (just like before California went legal in January) these will also go BOOM in June just before Canada goes legal.
