Lennon fan?
Whatchu think of Bon Scott?
With your net worth reaching close to 1m (congrats on that BTW, quite an accomplishment), I have some questions about that.
Do you feel wealthy?
Does 1m in net worth feel like you thought it would feel like when you used to dream about being a millionaire?
Does having 1m make you feel secure enough to take some chances?
I think I know the answer to these questions. I always hear people talk about "millionaires", but I don't think they realize that it doesn't afford nearly as many luxuries as they think.

You gave me a chuckle on this one vanzack.
NO I CERTAINLY DO NOT FEEL WEALTHY!!!
My net worth has been basically stagnant for the last ten or twelve years. I got lucky with a couple real estate deals earlier in life but took a whipping when GWB left the stock market DOW at $6K. That was absolutely BRUTAL. Figuring inflation and cost of living $900K is hardly a King's Ransom these days.
I made a decision to retire early and spend more time with my wife, aging father, and disabled son. Absolutely no regrets. Family always first. The money goes fast as you spend it down and that's why the net worth has remained stagnant.
We do not live what I would call a lavish lifestyle. Try to be very frugal with monetary decisions and serious risk taking at my age is out of the question. When you're younger you can afford to take the risks because you have the time and energy to work harder.
Heell, I made a $500 basketball total wager a few days ago and was on the edge of my seat the entire game. Won the wager by one point. I'm comfortable with my little $50 to $200 wagers.
We drive inexpensive vehicles. I've got a 16' Maxima, Wifey a small 14' Mercedes GLK, and a 10' Accord which will run forever. Treats for us is dinner out three nights a week and we're all happy. Feel secure but clearly not wealthy that's for certain.
Very Good Questions.
