I will throw my thoughts out about some long horses or faves....be careful the rest of the way. I might play a Daily double here and there but I have already dumped $120 into tonight on Pick5's and other plays....lost so being selective now

Without looking at odds....I really like this #8 as a horse to bet across...first time with a driver.....it races in Gold and they paid $115 000 for it as a yearling.
its time for this horse to get in the money and maybe win
Love 679 with it and might bet it to win and then wheel it for 2nd/3rd and 4th in a super

Mike Pribozie likes the 8 as well. Didn't know thats a $115k horse, geezus only $9.5k earnings so far this year. I like seeing the odds play out and where the late money goes I'll keep my eye on him. I'm getting torched tonight so may as well play a bomb

3/5 fave comes through. Had it in my pick 4
Almost took the 8, but passed. Looked.good down the backstretch but completely failed after it got passed by the #6. He needs alot of work

Got beat by the #3 in the 7th not that it would matter the pick 4 would have payed dreadfully.
Seriously, how do you make any money on this? I feel like your better off just getting an OLG ticket

Winning at horses is hard.....and requires you learn how horses improve, can regress....can be hiding a good performance by faking their race, etc.
I only like favourites to build a long ticket in the PICK5 but I like to have many horses that look like they can improve each race...on my ticket
Favourites do not pay out well but you have to pick your spots....take the with an medium or longshot on an exactor or place them 3rd in a triactor on their own or 4th on a superfecta
My goal is to find a non -favourite horse that I key in one of my PIck5 legs and then I mix and match faves with promising medium to long odds horses
When I hit a $700 + PICK5....it often leads to some more...but I am in a dry period now of 4-5 meets of losing money or just breaking even/maybe making $50-100....its about minimizing losses until you hit a nice one and then bank a couple more medium payouts. Last year during covid and off work for months, I made over $26K over 3 months profit all recorded and posted....then had to go back to work ....when I work, I only play 2x a week if the card looks favourable for a great payout

Tuesday Mohawk weather and track:
-fast track with no rain expected
-SW wind about 8-12 mph will help 1st over horses get a push on the last turn.....front end speed does a little better in this wind but its humid so when conditions are like this, horses can get tired so closers have a chance if the horse on the lead used his fractions too fast
Leaning to a Pick5 ONLY if I can find a secure KEY or ....find a 6-1 or higher odds horse worth KEYING on about a $30-45 ticket........otherwise, I am only going to play a Pick4 or superfectas...maybe Doubles and exactors

Race 1 - #2 should be a key and is ready for 152 flat but I like a couple others .... might take #6 with JMAC ...horse is 12 /13 in the money and gets a good trainer and very hot driver...the horse should be able to do 152 flat here and so it is a key with #2
Not sure if these can do 152' flat but they should go in?
#5 is a great driver/trainer combo and could be fresh from 2 weeks off after increasing times rather than decreasing
I have been on #8 Miss Rockadali as a value play for a while now so tempted to stick with her
Race 2 - #2 and definitely #4 standout on closing times and overall performance plus Trevor is really good with 2/3 year old trotters as he raises them /trains them on his farm south of Arthur (friend from high school nearby and we used to play poker in the horse barn as teenagers and he taught me how to bet at old Elmira track).....#2 is very well bred and I find McClure tries his butt off for a small trainer/owner
-#5 has to go in with the connections and chance for this horse to get a great drive from JMAC....Blake Mc is not a great trot trainer but his horses seem to be doing a little better this year
-#7 goes in for sure with connections and driver...I have seen Moreau trotters improve 4-6 seconds from qualifier times
-#10 ...DO NOT LEAVE OUT....finished only 4 lengths back from World At War Deo in first lifetime race and is ready with Luc Roy to be driven aggressively as he is a wizard on trotters
USING 5 HORSES IN THIS RACE FOR SURE... if you wish to cut back, take 4 5 10
Race 3 - #8 stands out with the competition its been racing with and showing close competitive times but there are 2 others ...JMAC's #9 horse that have me intrigued
- #2 has won 3 times already with not a strong driver and now Moreau has had more than 2 weeks to work with the horse!
-#3 really intrigues me...first time driver and the trainer coaxed a monster qualifier and this owner tends to have trotters mostly but when I have seen him have a pacer, he normally starts it in Buffalo but the fact he did not and did so well in that qualifier as the trainer driving tells me he knows he has a 1 in a 100 horse and so will press for a win tonight with Jodi
THIS COULD BE AN ALL RACE ....if they want to play around and if adding a 5th horse, look at the 4 yr old Precious Bunny bred Christoforou horse as a monster upset

Race 4 - KEY #9 ....look who the horse races with!!! ...and has already won a Gold final and they paid $300k for this horse as a yearling so the draw of the 9 position is a chance to make the horse compete and get a tightener for an upcoming gold final likely
-#2 and #6 should be added if you feel they may play around

Race 5 - #5 should be a KEY but one has to make a decision here......key it or #9 in race 4
Others that have merit....love the #9 next with the driver change and it should cut the mile I would think
Others that should go in #10 and #6
My ticket 4 horses / 5 horses with / 5 horses / KEY /KEY = $20
2nd ticket > 2 horses / 3 horses / 4 horses/ 3 horses / #5 = $14.40

PICK5 in race #1 ....I like it alot > PLAY ONE or ALL 3 of those options and make some upset longshot pick3's if you are nervous about the drivers screwing around

@icemantbi
Can I suggest a semi- small one..... another play
256/ 4510 / 238 /69 / 5910 = $44 approx......this one would pay well if you did not get the favourite ticket
