I put in #1 in race 3 because it has an equipment change and was close last race

I spent $62 on two Pick5's and $20 on two upset Pick3's starting in race #1

Playing a Pick3 backup in race #2 > 245710/ 1238910 / 29 ...I think this pays well if an upset happens even to #9 ...but I am playing it to backup the fact I like #2 in Race 4 but decided to leave it out of the tickets

Nice ticket, I worry about overextending on these, too many faves hit and your payout barely makes back what you bet

#2 takes it at the wire nice

Ahhh shit....did not think a first timer would win and left #2 off of my 2nd Pick5 that has 4 horses in the last leg....

Good start though since many handicappers play morning line odds on Pick5's because they are too lazy or inexperienced to handicap and so far we have an :

RACE 1 > 8-1 morning line

RACE 2 > 4-1 morning line....damn, I know McClure tries his ass off for small trainers who have a decent horse and I should have put it in but got a brain fart somehow and should have 2 tickets alive....its mistakes like this that sometimes cost me $1000's on some Pick5 potential wins

 Makes sense.....Pick5 pay at least $75 even when almost all faves hit....too many young horses and other variables which is why I am taking a shot except for the last 2 races as there seems to be form KEYS

I bet with over $5000 live tickets left in the pool that most will have only 2-3 horses here and that would be #2 , 8 , 9

2 and 9 look the best ready at post parade.....#3 and #10 look good....8 looks like it always does...no read on it

I look for the following in the post parade in this order of importance:

-how front breast and legs look shiny and muscles rippled > indicates trained well through the week and ready

-ears alert and perked

-back flat and tight hold or lines by the driver 

I used to go to Mohawk for visual inspection...its on my way home from work.....and big bettors and trainers who some of  them I know, have likely seen the same things I did with 2 and 9 and brought the price down with betting across on either one of those two

2 or 3 will win 

2 was blocked....3 broke but see it coming after falling way back???

You take that horse next and #2 if they are in the same race

I almost keyed #8 here but thought that was cheeky with it only having one win before this in 16 races

Still alive in my pick 5 after 3 races. 

Really short prices on the winners tho.  The #8 last race absolutely crushed the field.  Will be one to watch in the future

If this goes 9 and then 5 ....its not going to pay over $150 likely....more like $90 -130 ish ....then again, that first and 2nd race was tough to pick a winner exactly so you never know

I have 69 / 5 left....should have had also  9 /5610

Last two are going to be dicey.  Only the key horses for me.  #9 in the 4th and #5 in the fifth.

Are you doing $1 pick 5s?

I'm hoping that $90-$130 is based on the 20 cent.  I did $1 on mine so those prices are not that great

#9 is going to be a heavy fave in the 4th, have a feeling it will go off at 4/5 or worse

If you played a $1 play, the prices will be shown in 20 cent increments...so you would get 5x

I am thinking if it comes 9 /5......the $1 ticket will pay a minimum of $500

I have some DOUBLES onto #6 9 and 10 plus a little bit to #5 who I already have for a 20 cent Pick5 alive

If I hit, I will likely cap a double somewhere along the line......my favourite reality show is coming on after this race till 10 pm
