Race #1 - don't think you need to chase an upset here....#1 has JMAC who is not slowing down...is driving like the year Filion won everything with understanding his horse and when to move
-56'2 back half and close to winning is sic for a young trotter
-clear winner unless the horse breaks
Race #2 - no clear standout and could see an upset here > 1457 ...even #2 could be a threat if it gets over breaking issues
Race #3 - 1 5 7 ....1 and 5 will go at each other and #7 could benefit from Christoforou's racing style ...he is real good on trotters as his family always raises them and he grew up driving on them
Maybe: > throw in #4 with now hopples added and McNair 1st time
Race #4 - #5 value key but have to throw in the #8 which will be fave with a monster kick with trainer driving it only and now handing the reins to JMAC....same is said for #5 ...woman driver/trainer given to Sylvain first time and new trainer who is decent with horses first time (Perreira) ....also its a Bayama bred so that is Filion's family involved so he tends to drive these horses with a lot of pride to win!
Maybe: #4 > 2nd race and should improve time
Shocker: #9 has first time Jodi and had to race on the outside with the trainer in its first two races
Race #5 - 23456
Maybe #1 - Jodi and carved its first set of times at Grand River...this horse is sitting on a big mile...can feel it
#9 - Brethour horses are dangerous and another horse who was impressive at Grand River
#10 - who knows off a driver change to JMAC

Conditions tonight:
- track less likely to see rain and if so, it will come between 7-8pm
-winds from NW so into their faces on last Quarter pretty the whole way around that last turn and stretch so if horses are first over, they will likely fade unless covered up initially
-2nd and 3rd over should be fine
-wind favours front end and who can get reasonable fractions
-wind gets slightly less over first Pick5 > 10 mph sustained wind and up to 16 mph gusts

Race #2 - #4 came 1st over out of third at the half and held the lead although #7 pressured to make it close
Race #3 - will report after....#5 opens up overwhelming favourite

Saturday weather....light winds but off and on rain maybe ...will update later. I don't think the track will be off because before racing, because it will be dry and warmups tend to use middle to outside lanes to not cut up track
Lots of upsets lately.....will cap later. Trend I recognized 2 weeks ago has not hit and I suspect it will soon again but gonna cap this straight up regardless
Wind from SW at about 10-13 mph so some push for horses that go first over
Watched a offtrack card in June and one in July and noticed that horses that leave.....didn't win....horses that sat 3rd to 6th won a lot of races and came either first or second over and used the middle of the track to gain on the inside slop
Capping now...if I don't find a good key, I might just play superfectas instead until I hit one and then save it for the HI5
Forgot to mention....when the track was off....Luc Roy rated his horses best and took lead first over a lot and held down the lane...JMAC raced strategically using the middle of the track and Travis Cullen raced well the whole night
Something to note when an offtrack is gonna happen
If rain is not affected, you have to take #5 Bautista dropping way down and with Fillion and Baillargeron combo as a KEY in the first race
Race #1 - Bautista! > only Wild and Crazy Guy has the speed to the half to stay with Bautista as the other horses are not used to 55' halfs and if they do go in one, they wilt down the homestretch.
#5 KEY and add #3 for protection in your ticket....if something else wins, let it go and start playing supers or late Pick5/HI5
Race #2 - Completely agree with the Program guide's picks.... have to like:
#5 - Nickel Bag with JMAC...will go to the front
#6 - Captain Video with Sylvain is more than ready to pop ...Moreau horses have been live the last while
#4- Royal Renegade with Hensley is dangerous especially with a 25'3 last quarter 2 races ago and Hensley will likely want to be 2nd or 3rd over behind Captain Video
Off....Hervey Hanover...Cullen does not know how to get this horse to kick on the stretch like it used to
Maybe > Grand Poobah #9 is showing once again, dangerous signs its gonna leave and fall into a race sitting 3rd or 4th and tonight could be the race...likely will put the horse in
#7 -Rhythm Hanover has burned so much cash for me but Mario knows how to steer this horse....maybe off cover?
Race #3 - have to like #3 and #6....but likely going with 4 horses
-think #1 is finding form and getting better and #8 should go in considering #8 is using first time hopples and look what it did for #9 the last two races? Rubys are Nice was bet fave a lot last year and I think the hopples will get it confidence and could surprise
Race #5 - like 7 horses....don't think HighlandBeach can wire this strong field from the 10 - hole like it has 2 x before
-don't like #2 or #3....don't have consistent closing times to compete with these
