As per my previous email, I am making a few changes this year. I am introducing two new pools and making changes to the PICK5 pool to make it even more exciting.

Please feel free and forward to your friends and family. You can join any combination or all of them if you wish. It's up to you. The most exciting pool of course is the BIGPOOL which involves every game every week.

Below are the different pools and their details.

New to PICK5 pool. I will be introducing year-end total prizes and eliminating one-off entries. Cost is moving from $5 per week to $10 per week and must be paid upfront for the season. This means you will be paying $185 upfront for the season. $5 goes towards Website fees. Half of the money or $5 per week per entry goes towards the Weekly prize. The other half or $5 per week per entry goes towards Season ending prizes. For the Weekly prizes, the rules stay the same. You must win all 5 games to win the pot. The point system is slightly different for the Season total prizes. Each win will count as 1 point. Each tie/push will count as ½ point. Weekly prize money and Season total prize amounts will depend on the number of entries.

2 NEW POOLS are being introduced this year

1) SUPER PICK5 – Entry fee is $200. No weekly prizes. Just season-ending total prizes. Choose your best 5 games against the spread each week. You will be awarded 1 point per win and ½ point per tie/push. Depending on the number of entries we may have quarterly prizes as well.

Quarterly prizes will follow below

1st Quarter: Weeks 1-4

2nd Quarter: Weeks 5-9

3rd Quarter: Weeks 10-13

4th Quarter: Weeks 14-18

2) SUPER SURVIVOR – Entry fee is $100. Same rules as SURVIVOR1 pool. Pick one game per week. Just need to pick the winner of the game, no spread. Cannot pick the same team twice throughout the season. Must continue to win your one game per week to survive. The last players alive win the money. Money won depends on the number of entries.

SURVIVOR #2 POOL - Cost $35

Same as SURVIVOR #1 Pool but this one starts in week 4. This pool is basically a chance for the players that were eliminated in the SURVIVOR pool already to play again.

LOSER POOL - Cost $35

Pick one loser per week. Just need to pick the loser of the game, no spread. Cannot pick the same team twice throughout the season. Must continue to lose your one game per week to survive. The last players alive win the money. Prize money will depend on the number of entries.

Prize money splits for season-ending ties: All ties for Season prizes for finishing positions will be split evenly among all entrants in the tie. (For example, if two entrants are tied for 1st Place, the prizes for 1st and 2nd place will be added together and split evenly. The official finishing position for these two entrants would be “T-1st”, and the next finisher in this situation would finish 3rd, Additionally, for example, if two entrants are tied for 2nd Place, the prizes for 2nd and 3rd place will be added together and split evenly. The official finishing position for these two entrants would be “T-2nd”, and the next finisher in this situation would finish 4th, etc.).

I did Bigpool for about 8 years and then the number of guys got to be too crazy...use to cash $300- 2000 almost every year and then some ringers came in....I got busy with work

If you are gonna do a pool, just make sure you are in before the Sunday 1pm game....you miss out on the Thursday game which is Buffalo at the Rams but can still get your picks in..

Ya bro, SURVIVOR POOLS are fun....pick 1 winner a week, but cannot use that pick again ....so strategy happens and a lot of times, the biggest spread loses and lots get knocked out....you have to use strategy and look ahead

Would love to do this with NCAAF but lots of guys don't have the time and stick to NFL because its on tv every Sunday.

I get it. Im on west coast bro and college football fans are few and far between out here. Its like a no mans land 

I can dig it on a survival pool tho. Ive done them before so i know how it goes.Could be a good time…. But i gotta be honest, i stopped capping NFL a couple years ago and juss roll with my gut on impulse plays on Sundays.  I bee my money where i WIN and thats college. ive been lucky enough to consistently hit over 60% for a few years running. Kinda depend on it every year for vacations and christmas money 

College is easier than NFL...no doubt about it

Survivor pools are my thing.....I fricken love them because its not always obvious.
