And of course I can't bet all races, never claimed I did.
Keep posting however you want Gman
GOOD LUCK to all.
good work guys
I think most share my view - Posting 4-5 horses / race is not an issue. It can be handy for those playing pick 3s for example. The problem becomes boasting about cashing big tickets involving those horses when you did not post your plays. To us - "its not my fault you are too stupid to figure it out" is condescending and doesn't help anyone. But it is a public forum - so we always take advice given from Mods - don't read threads you know are gonna make you volcanic. Easier said than done though.
And you can get top 4 picks for every race from countless sources. Handicapping sites, DRF, TVG, newspaper, Twitter, track handicappers, etc....So unless you tell people what to do with your picks how does it help? I know - we are old school. Actually giving a #ratsass about other posters.
great work in here lately you freaks

I get everyone's valid points and YES, I used to post 4 picks per race in Superfecta races with 7+ horses in them. But in my defense, I could not post an actual play because I always posted well b4 actual post time and let the odds dictate whether I played or not.
However, posting every race live with minutes to post is a whole different ballgame. In this case, I agree that actual plays or passes would be the right thing to do.

I think you are right in saying "does anyone here base what money they pay on someone's picks." However, you might be missing part of the point of this discussion.
I think most of the people here don't look at someone's picks and simply play it. Just like reading the opinions of writers on drf.com or other racing information sources, we're looking for informed opinions to consider in our handicapping approach.
Do I play picks that Steve Crist or Andy Beyer makes? Hell no, but I sure like to hear what they have to say about angle that I might have missed., about the breeding of a horse; the trainer's comments and patterns. Those are the sorts of things that help to make an informed decision.
