Sure. Picks are part of the analysis, but if those of us here can present a case for a horse, or a position, etc.; or present the "other side," and information that can help handicappers to make an informed decision, then it's a legit reason to provide such insight through facts.
I haven't capped the race because we still don't know who will be in it, for one. However, there is a pretty good chance I will not pick Epicharis to win, but if I can provide some useful information for his backers, or others considering using him or not, then one of my purposes for being on this forum is fulfilled.
