Tried to reply earlier but my post didnt go through. In my younger years I would have tackled TSLA if that is what you were talking about via puts or short but with the massive slosh of liquidity and risk taking now I dont even try. The valuation on that stock and the market in general is absurd but it has been absurd for a long time...so what the crap do I know. I looked at puts today but the premiums are just moronic, pumped up due to the beta now and its stupid.

Smart man... at the end of the day, it's still a car company and hasn't turned a profit over a 12 month period. It a cult stock times 100. It keeps going up, but so did many other companies during the dot bomb era. When will it be treated like other car companies that focus on profit. We keep hearing this endless nonsense about car deliveries over a month/ quarter period of time.. start making money ! It is clear that the cult community is completely irrational.

Bitcoin surging over $9,700.
Can it break through and hold over $10,000?
You know what I would be doing if I held any at this price.

That seems pretty insane. To get to that valuation with a P/E of around 20 it will take Tesla at least a decade to grow their earnings to be worth that much from today's stock price.
As a Google shareholder, I would prefer that this did not happen. Too much risk on the Google side imo.

I read in WSJ over the weekend that the day you posted this, 2/4, was the most actively traded day for any stock in the last 20 years (1999)... Back in the dot bomb era. TSLA trading that day exceeded the next 5 actively traded stocks combined, including AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL. It's market value exceeds companies such as McDonald's and Citibank... and TSLA exceeds the market value of the Big 3 automakers . Nothing makes sense in this stock, other than the fact that the cult-like retail community continues to buy.
Don't know how anyone could be a shortseller, but I read Jim Chanos still is. Yeah, he's a billionaire, but how much longer can you stand this. The market can be irrational far longer than your wallet can afford.

Yeah, Tesla is crazy. Everyone buying the top will get rekt like they always do.
Selling some Cardano at $0.0713 and buying more CODI at $0.0167.
Hoping for a big pump soon.
I’m also impressed with Kucoin’s app/platform/selection. I think they’re going to do well so I bought some of their coin at $1.31.

Interesting point about TSLA and Bitcoin but not really a fair comparison. It is amusing that Musk declared 2 weeks ago that this wouldn't happen. If you are going to raise cash via a stock offering, doing so after a 400% stock pop is the way to do it I suppose.
BTW, your challenge is a virtual dead heat. I'm impressed and would actually favor Bitcoin in the short run at these levels.
BTC 2/24/18...8,500 to 10,200....20%
SPY 2/24/18....274 to 337.....23%

I would recommend throwing a couple thousand at Coti and holding it while it goes from #415 on coin market cap and makes a run for the top #100 over the next few months.
Currently $0.023 with a market cap of $7 million.
#100 market cap is currently $50 million.

Really like Algo. Thinking about getting into that as well. Going to stop playing hot potato and sit in my positions for a while going forward.

Detox. So you expect a 180% pop in the next 4 months. I would call you a madman if I didn't just witness TSLA go from $180 to $850.
I suppose anything is possible.

Yeah I think a pop is coming. Crypto winter just came to an end. We’re just exiting the accumulation period in my opinion.
2020 and 2021 should be tremendous.
