You could buy websites and collect the Google ad income or affiliate income. There is a website called Flippa.com that's like the eBay for websites. While many people buy a website and expand it to generate more revenue, you can buy several sites and just generate the income - much like rental real estate.

you need to make sure it's a hot venue so that people don't mind paying above face value?

A friend of mine does this but somewhat different.

He buys the tickets in person rather than doing it online. That way you dont get hit with all those service charges. He makes a lot of money and he only picks about 15-20 concerts a year to buy the tickets.

For instance he had gotten 20 Van Halen tickets 10 first row, and 10 in the 3rd row. He ended up selling them for an average of $2000 a ticket and paid he paid $140/ ticket.

40k- 2800= 37,200. Then he probably paid about 5k for people who waited in line and travel costs. So he pocketed 30k for one show.

No, You buy the tickets at face value and sell at market value depending on the concert or event.
I recently scored some Coldplay tickets in Jersey on 8/2 for $85 each with fees and flipped them for an average of $145.

You def need to know what to buy. there are a few websites out there that talk about upcoming events....Which one will be hot or not. I have made my share of mistakes but that was mostly when I started.

I have also befriended bigger brokers over the past few years and have attended ticket conferences in New York and Las Vegas to sit down with some real winners and learn some inside info.

Did you know If you called up most NHL,NBA and MLB teams and committed in buying 20 season tickets..Instead of paying the $120 face value, you could prob get the tickets at a price of $60 each.
So then you call actually sell the tickets below face $100 each and make a nice profit.

You can also tell if your buying a hot event when you're trying for the tickets on ticketmaster. If you can get right through with no wait...you don't want those tickets. You want the show that says 10 mins waiting...that's good.

I remember one bigtime broker was telling me he could get me Jay-Z & Eminem tickets at Yankee stadium within the 1st 10 rows. I just had to buy 30 of them at once. At the time they were $2500 each on Stubhub (Ripoff) and he offered them to me at $1700 each.
I didn't have 50K to lay out.

I can't give you all my secrets but I hope I answered you well enough to believe me that this is a great business.

Right now I am outta work and this has been helping me pay my bills.

The initial question was. Does anyone have a $100,000 business idea.

With 100k you can do some damage and if you have another resource for income (since this only takes you 5-10 hours per week) and are able to reinvest your profits.....I could double that money in 12-18 months.

1) Go to a trade school for $10-$20k, learn electrical, hvac or plumbing.

2) study hard and long.

3) intern or work for minimum wage for 2-3 years and learn the ins and out of that trade, kiss your bosses ass, learn everything.

DO NOT get a partner - they will just cut into profits

4) take the other $60-90k and start your own trade biz, buy a truck, ALL your tools, advertise online and your van

5) work in your apt or house until you have enough to buy a small warehouse in a cheaper location.

6) after steady clientele rolls in hire shitty workers like you use to be and relax, 

7) become a low key book, post on covers when you're bored, go on vacations.

Can a run of the mill pizza joint charge 20 bucks for a pepperoni pizza when the chain shops are charging like 9 or 10 bucks?  Maybe if it's very good pizza with a good following, but not from the outset, I wouldn't think.

Yess you can get alot of that stuff for cheap but its just a matter if people will come in and buy instead of ordering it online but theres potential to make 3 4 times your initial investment which is fucking huge

best bet is to start your own porn store online but the competition is already there so breaking in would be futile unless you could be a loss leader and gain customers before going broke
