Have no exposure to this period (long or short), but I would expect FSLR to blow out the "whisper number" and the manipulators will have a field day tomorrow terrorizing and nuking shorts.
We'll see, I guess.

On to something else.

Was "hoping" to cover 10-12ish, but am now getting cold feet as I realize I am fighting head to head with Paulson/Bernanke/Dickie/Bailouts/etc......
Decided to cover in after market. Closed out at 18.80. After fees and setting aside 28% for the clowns in DC to pay for more of their assing around, a paltry sum, when you consider I've had this for 8 trading days. About 270 rocks net...........about the same as winning a farking MNF game.
This pisses me off like nothing else, cause these symbols like C are total and complete crap. C is fairly valued at 10-12ish, which is where it should be heading.
But, no. The criminals in DC won't allow it to go there, and there ain't a gd thing I can do about it.
Getting pissed off and ranting on a message board ain't gonna' change a damn thing.
The name of this sickening game is money, plain and simole. Time to move on.
Have a good evening, everyone. And the world is not coming to an end............yet. Scholar Ben bought everyone about another 2-4 years..........for now.

Keep up the good fight with DRYS on the other board! Seems you are fighting an uphill battle there. What do people have to gain from bashing a stock and spewing lies? Or are those people just jilted investors who are looking to make everyone else miserable?

I have learned quite a bit from battling with idiots over there. Prior to being invested in DRYS I had ZERO clue about the industry.
I love those guys who bash George for buying the PANA prompt delivery vessels, yet dont care that other companies are paying just as much.
Those bashers have whined from the start, that audio and fool and play were bashing the OR acquisition back when George started buying shares. I was fighting for it from the start, now look who was right?

VH,
I love the debate.
You can tell it is me over there huh?

Nice sales increase but it isnt flowing to the bottom line very strongly.
I dont like this report at all and I am shocked they didnt do a split, that would make the stock go up 50.
FSLR margins are horrible, forget valuing the stock on anything but hyper growth ratios..
I have no discipline, I made a bad gamble today so dont make fun, ...it was rushed impulse (these never work), bought the puts way out of money (240's). paid 5.60. I was gonna sell the 220 or 230's against them but wanted to go for a nice score. I really feel like I know the right thing to do but I never do it. Another bonus down the drain.

Oil could drop and these solars get hit, or something comes out tomorrow a downgrade etc.
FSLR is a high risk/reward play, I am shocked that those puts cost 560 being 40 bucks out..wow.
true, could get lucky if something like that happens. Thanks for the signs of some hope. premiums were ridiculous, made impossible to any straddle or strangles. What do you think of selling short then buying a call to play both sides when premiums are nuts like that? MA reports tomorrow, might look at doing something.....

I think MA reports before the bell tomorrow, you might be too late to do much damage there after Tuesday/todays runs. I think the options premiums in MA are pretty high as well, especially after the two day runup and the V blowout of earnings today.

When you have high priced stocks the capital required for shorting makes it crazy.
I would rather own ONE contract near the money than two or three out, the odds are against you going far out like that with so much time left in the cycle.
I agree with jax, the odds MA does ok is pretty high to me.

The public reaction today will be to sell due to "fear about the NFP report" Friday AM.
And as we all know, "all eyes will be on the all-important NFP number."
Farking cliches.
But since the public will be selling out of fear today, the smart money/contrarian play is to get long SP 500 some time today, and then close it by Friday afternoon. My fiddy sint.
Cheers

I am reminding myself as much as anything that we are seeing data skewed by many things, especially, however, the impact of the temporary boon of the stimulus checks. I think we are going to see the real declines for the year in the coming months, once that band aid and others are no longer in play.
