Celebrity encounters in Vegas?

I doubt Hef cares about getting played..

Met Donald Trump at his casino in AC ..he was walking to a Miss America meeting ..

Met Jerry Tarkanian and his son Danny waiting to eat at Harrahs in New Orleans during the Final 4 in 2003.

Played Black Jack with Mike Jarvis during that trip..

Haven't met anyone in my previous 4 Vegas trips .. maybe in a few weeks I will..

Was playing craps at the Mirage in 97 when a friend told me to turn around.  Playing Blackjack at a table directly behind me was Michael Jordan with a big fat cigar.  Had his own table and security standing behind him shooing people away as they tried to get close.

FWIW, I heard MJ hangs out a lot at the Hard Rock in Tampa with his big stogey and rarely tips the dealers.   

Several years ago, I saw Ron Jeremy talking on a pay phone in Vegas.   

I was in Tahoe at the same time as the celebrity golf tourney and saw too many to mention.  Brett Hull, Emmitt Smith and Big Ben were all very cool.

Now to MJ - He's completely dilusional....He truly believes he is god-like and deserves to be treated that way.  I know for an absolute fact - he does not tip anyone!  All employee's of Harrah's are not allowed to speak about his play to anyone either or he will not come back.  He talks down to every service person he encounters - regardless of their approach to him.

This especially hurts as he was an idol of mine growing up and attending his basketball camps as a young teen.

That's sad because as the champ Mike Tyson says we all do stupid shit when we're fucked up.

Not Vegas, but funny. I was playing golf in Fairfield Glade, TN and his friend in the clubhouse asked hin if we wanted to play with the twosome in front of us. John Daly was one with a friend of his, the part that is funny is that morning I rin read in the paper he was in rehab and would be there for at least 3 weeks. When I somewhat kidded him he said he gets to come and go as he pleases and he was pleased to be gone. This at 9:30 am and he had a beer in his hand.

Sitting in a midwest Hooters two summers ago eating and who walks in around 3pm. John Daly who just finished his fist round at the John Deere Classic. I approached him and introduced my boys to him and he was funny with them, but according to a friend that is the the manager he stayed into the late night got hammered and obnoxious and yes  he played the 2nd round but missed the cut of a very easy tournament.

this is weird!!!  several years ago back i saw him talking on a payphone at bwi airport in maryland on my way TO vegas lol.
