Matchups and Stats Page Enhancements *Now Live*

Guys the feedback they want is not go back to old way,they did that on the lay out and they did the match up menu changes after the hockey all at once,the IT guys made it this way quickly and with some e-mails that made it seem like we were going to get a voice in the changes but then BOOM,all started and yes they do not look as good as the others,seems to be that we lost info,and as with most changes they do not seem user friendly.But this is not going back,I am sure they are not happy having the 2 formats but those powers did a bad job on making that change and got stuck with both,trust me that will not happen here.

If you want to be heard give them the stuff your missing from old format only,it sucks or were leaving if you do not change it and any other comments that do not pertain to giving feedback is just going to be ignored,so if we leave we leave,if we start using other sites as covers lost a big advantage they had over the others,and there are alot of them.The hockey change was put in months ago and these were planned,it is what it is.

Maybe they get it where we can use it,or not,but the change is in to stay.

Couple things one being you have the ATS info in 3 different areas,really just looks like a waste of space,you have it at top like before,then another section with ats and then a big section with ats as fav or dogs,take up alot of space,it reminds me of a gambling book for dummies,looks like with the ads you filled up the page with very little info in it really,this being the second change on this part of covers you have taken out anything useful for space filler.

Why comment section out?That had to be easy to put in.

Please add the comment/chat functionality back asap.  Honestly, it was one of the primary reasons I came to this site to see a healthy discussion on games.  The chat feature as it relates to individual games was one of the sole unique features this site has to offer.  If you don't add it back I'll just go elsewhere and assume it was removed for a money grab to promote your "expert" cappers.  

Leave it to Covers Execs. to completely trash the site. If aint broke don't fix it, ass wipes.

too be honest..i switched to another familiar site for matchups....shoulda maybe enhanced what you had...gamblers hate change- ive been lookin at the old one so long that I knew what a winner looked like there...hate the new one.. to the point of not using it

We ask that when you submit your question, please add as much detail as possible in order for us to effectively investigate. Examples of what to include:

Good afternoon,

 I am seeing some data issues and some other issues with the new changes.  I have some questions and suggestions.  I am using a laptop.

Question 1:  For NCAAB, before the change the trends section would show conference and non-conference trends.  I no longer see these trends.  Is this something that you anticipate to come back?

Question 2(NCAAB): In the matchup page, in the “L 10” section and in the ATS column.  It shows a W or L even though there was NO LINE on the game.  It always shows Over(O0.0) also when there was no line.  Do you plan on fixing this? I preferred it before when I think it just showed “ - - “ for games that didn’t have a line.

Trends section issue:

For NCAAB using the game Delaware at George Washington for an example. The trends section says this “Blue Hens are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.”
This isn’t correct if you look at Delaware’s team page, where in the last 10 games that had a line.  Delaware is 7-2-1.

Are you guys aware of this issue?  Any plans to correct?

By the way, the fixes that were put in yesterday.  I can already see a positive difference.

Data issue:

For NCAAB, OSU is listed as 7-1 ATS this year.  But the LAST 10 section shows them as 6-2 ATS.  Very confused to why the data is inconsistent.  Known issue?  Plans to fix?

In the NFL I like the game preview and odds right at the top of the page one thing I would like added in the stats analysis is drives per game or total drives , pt's  per drive , yds/dr league avg etc... things that have to do with drives over all I don't mind the change , I think you just need to know wear to click on some things. But I do hate the add that always comes up in the lower left would be nice to just have them on the left or right side.

Another would be when you click on nfl and it brings you to the stats and matchups at the top of the page you have odds , teams ,  stats , weather etc.. I notice when you click on weather the game are more or less on there by what time the game is it would be nice to see maybe a little dome or something like that when it brings you to the matchup page or when you click on weather all the dome games go on one side and out door game on the other so I don't need to check weather , just a little dome or something like that, I do like the arrow showing which way the wind is blowing though.

Will you add the chat/comment feature back to this site on individual games or is it gone forever?

Sorry but I hated the change to the nhl site and now All the new sites are equally as bad.  Sure there may be added information somewhere in the new format but the old way was simple and easy to check out.  Some of us don't have all day toi look through all the useless stats you are offering.  I am still unable to click on matchup in ncaab and ncaaf without getting server errors on a black background.  Works fine on other areas.  I have no idea how this new format is helpful and wish you would not have made all these changes.  No fun in getting frustrated over trying to figure out what you are doing.  Maybe you should have let your contestants decide what was best instead of you thinking everybody was going to love what you were subjecting us to.  Just my two cents which doesn't matter much.

Have to give props for addressing some of the complaints.

One other is to please restore the yards per rush attempt and yards per pass attempt in the College Football boxscores, certainly in the team stats and players stats would be nice as well. It would be great if you could add this to NFL boxscores too.

Again, love the new site. Couple small fixes here&there but it is still better than any other site out there. Have to leave a positive comment because it seems like only the cry babies are commenting. Nobody likes adults that wear diapers.

Neutral court.......... one more thing to add

the old matchup pages would use 'AT' for home games and 'VS' for neutral court games.......... the new matchup pages lost this distinction ......... for example todays NCAA BB game between Dayton and St Marys is a neutral court game played in Phoenix but your matchup reads Dayton at St Marys when it should be Dayton -vs- St Marys.  Also the location on the matchup page (thanks for adding that) should be more detailed.  The location reads.....  Talking Stick Resort Arena.  That's great but I've been following sports for 45 years and have no idea what city this is.  Can you add Phoenix, AZ to the location?  Now I have to go to Yahoo and look up the location.  Waste of time.

Scrolling through these comments cracking up at how hard change is for people.... sorry, boomers. Shoutout to the devs/product people for the updates. UX is great. Thank you all for your work.

My Matchups page doesn't even come up now, just says page not found? Does it only work with certain OS?

If so, any way I can get it back to where it was working?

If not, then that's lousy

why do es covers have to ruin a good thing?   your new way  is totally  screwed.  Takes to long to look up info    some links dont work at all.   ( matchup) on the  picks page   Never goes to the game you want to look at .  Has anyone else  got the   ERROR 404  when looking up the matchups of  college basketball?     Get your head out of  your  gutter  and  get rid of this crap   go back to what we had.  Alot of People are going to go elsewhere  for info if you dont.   They don't want  to have to look elsewhere to find  their info.
