Matchups and Stats Page Enhancements *Now Live*

This is horrible! I’ve been using the college basketball matchups since I joined and had been one of the best things covers had. Now it’s a bunch of cluttered crap. Please at least let us view the old format like you did with the forums.

Covers just curious why you have not addressed one post other than your stock answer for thanking everyone for feedback.

Thank you for the continued feedback and hopefully you found Saturday's "Matchups and Stats pages live Q and A session" thread useful.

We wanted to pass along another important update about recent & upcoming changes/fixes you need to know about:

Changes/fixes we're making today

NFL/NCF Stats analysis brick:

- Changed back to Offense vs Defense for Stats Analysis brick

- Vs League Avg and Differentials added back to Stat Analysis Brick

- Adding font color indicators for stats differential

General:

- Adding Team Stats and Ranks Back into Teams Page

- Team Page Past Results and Schedules easier to view, separate tabs

- NEW -> OFF vs DEF Quick Cap Comparison added to Matchup Page

- Last 10 VS. + Result Columns are back

- Changes to FG Label on the Basketball Last 10 table

- Adding neutral site (N) game indicators on scoreboard

- Basketball Player Stats  sorted by PPG

- Incorrect Data on Last 3 H/A Fixed

- Missing Stats for QBs Fixed

Changes/fixes we're making this week

NBA/NCB Stats analysis brick:

so basically what we say or want doesn't matter .. there is no way we are getting the old matchups page back end of story 

This new format is absolutely terrible and all the advertisements are unbelievable annoying.  

   I like the site and the people, but you will slowly loose Everyone trying to fix something that was somewhat perfect before.. has turned into something kind of annoying ( much harder to use and navigate, and the information is way to spread out - sadly looking for another site set up the way this one once was ! 

P.S 

   Every time you accidentally touch one of the rediculous adds it automatically reroutes you to somewhere you don’t want to be

  the adds were always super annoying, but now with the stupid new format - the need to fire who ever green lighted all thes rediculous changes 

The part of ads I just love getting on my phone are when your trying to X out of a ad because it is taking up all the phone screen and it wants to know why your getting rid of the ad so I always click on seen it to much,then it tells me they will try to show it less,lol.

I have to agree with majority. Its taken a little getting use to. I also would like to see a little more game preview besides pro football and college football. what about college basketball, etc.. My biggest problem is the speed of the website, its horrible. I was thinking it was my computer but that is not it at all. Nice day!

As long as neutral sites are counted as true road games, you have inaccurate information in both individual games and home/away records.  Why you would want this is beyond me.  You're encouraging bettors to go to other web sites to get accurate info.  

Do not like the new page at all. The old page was much better ,easier to read .Change is not always a good thing .

Hey guys new account but have been creeping regularly since about 2006/07 (witnessed Game Hunter's epic MLB season as an example, for instance).

The new changes seem poorly and hastily implemented and I am looking for suggestions on what sites you others have moved onto as the new version is unfortunately unusable. 

- Covers removing the game log from the individual player pages is a baffling decision and was something I and presumably many others used daily. You would think this would be a cursory piece of information but apparently it has been deemed worthless. Bizarre.

- Now when you click on injuries, instead of just listing the injuries of each respective player for each respective team, you have to click the drop-down bar for every god damn player to see the particulars. In the NFL that could mean what was previously 1 click turning into 300+ clicks to view the specifics of every player. Obviously a non-starter and completely useless.

I had found a work-around whereby Googling (player) + "covers" would allow you to click on the second profile of that player to appear, and the old site and all old match-ups would load - it was so great - however that appears to be dead as of yesterday rendering Covers obsolete. 

Any suggestions on sites that offer an actual usable list of injuries and easily-accessible game logs would be appreciated. PFF? ESPN? Football Reference? Rotoworld? CBS? Yahoo?

It was an amazing decade and I learned invaluable information from this site and its posters, however the site is going in a different direction - which is completely fine and their call - but I don't want to lose access to the posters who made it so great.

Why did you remove the team records for each time from the Scores & Matchups page??? We can't even see the record of each team, the ATS records and the last 10 games anymore. That was the quickest way to filter and select prospective plays. Please bring this back.

What happened to the team injuries? Looked at the Super Bowl and I could not find any indication of injuries for the teams. New format is greek to me. I cannot fathom using this format during the baseball season!

Some of your college basketball head-to-head field goal stats are reversed.  High Point vs Charleston Southern is today's example.  One team's FG stats are actually the other team's for a particular game.  

The first game I look at on Saturday is the same thing.  Bradley and Southern Illinois head-to-head field goal stats are the wrong team's.

what happen to the prediction score at the bottom when I go to scores and matchups under every league. I go to game preview and the predictions are at the bottom. For example, Blackhawks 4-3 or Blue Jay 5-3. I find these predictions helpful. Please bring it back. 

Don’t like the changes at all. Old layout was excellent and there was no need for the changes.

How come they don’t give the final scores for the teams playing each other  when they do the matchups anymore
