Yes, you are correct.  Good question.

Thing is this is based entirely on MY style of capping.  And in this game I believed that opening line would surely move on the REDSOX so waited for the anticipated rise to heavy fav status - which it did.

The Mystery Angle is NOT based on opening lines.

ROGERS (Marlins) is off to an awesome start this season riding a long streak of 12 consecutive starts without a BAD outing.

But ALL starters have a BAD outing sooner or later when on a long streak
of very good performances. It is inevitable! And after so many consecutive,
good performances, they are obviously getting closer to that inevitability.

This doesn't mean it will happen today, 
but a BAD outing is definitely coming,  and it could be today.

Also, consider that even IF the excellent starter avoids a BAD outing
that doesn't guarantee his team wins the game!

Also, the good starters who are on a long consecutive streak without a BAD outing,
are typically pricey favs - and in certain cases a fade might be considered, such as my winning bet yesterday to fade LYNN (WhiteSox)

The "Mystery Angle" has no qualified picks for Thursday, as Marlins -200 are dropped due to Roger's streak.

"Mystery Angle" likely to have a couple plays on Friday

 Been following your posts for a month or so here. Had a winner Thursday night with Miami. I liked your picks today with reservation on the Mets and did not like the Reds. The Indians touched -170 for about 20 minutes early afternoon. Long story short, I put together several parlays and straights including the Marlins and Astros from your LSE angle post and hit EVERYTHING! The Marlins and Giants were the only dog winners today, all favorites the rest of the way. Small $50 dollars in wagers netted over $200. I'm new to baseball betting, just killing time until football starts. But I appreciate the work your putting in on these angles. And I agree systems come and go. But right now whatever you are doing with your stats is on fire. Thank you for sharing.

This also qualifies as a "LSE Angle" play.  I will be betting this one myself.

NOTE: two other potential plays (RAYS - Hill, and DODGERS - Bauer) DO NOT qualify in my style of capping because I have to downgrade the starters who are on long consecutive streaks without a BAD outing. (mediocre outings are ok)
