I believe that in some situations you have to ignore the system. For example, the Tigers have started crappy pitchers. Therefore the numbers will be skewed against them. Verlander has yet to give up a run in ST. He has averaged 4 innings pitched per start. With this being his last start of preseason the question I have is will he go the same or will he go longer (possibly 6 or 7). Lee has good number also and has averaged 4 innings pitched per start. Regardless of the differential of the previous 2 games played, the Tigers should be the logical play. The Royals also start a pitcher who has an ERA half of what the Padres starter has today. Also, ignoring the Pirates because they put up three touchdowns yesterday and skew the system, they start Cumpton (2.93 ERA) vs Nolasco (7.07 ERA). The logical play is Pittsburgh IMHO. Just my 2 cents worth.
