Ok,,Colorado, strictly by the numbers? Ok, well you might want to factor Team RISP the last 14 games of your choices and when a team's # is like the Rockies, you're taking a huge risk against ANYONE...including the Giants...currently you're giving up huge odds too..-156....Yesterday 1-10 RISP alone
They're famed "better pitching" this year has deteriorated as well including their "stud" closer Holland who's blown saves(if they were ever in a position for one)
This team has clear mental leadership issues as well, choking away a huge lead for the Wild Card, not reacting well to the publicity and then the scrutiny their now getting as falling apart...Buddy Black isn't the answer for that, the best players have never been in the postseason
Especially if they play a rising team like Az who just took betters to the woodshed this weekend...Colo basically was NEVER in any of the games.
What's my point? No analytics can make up for one's mind which is why former great players say the game is "90% mental"..
And if you increase your wagers on a team like this, then you're only doubling down on an impending storm going away..I bet on this team against my better judgement Friday and yesterday tailing a very successful capper and I will not again..I did also do well on the WSOX, Phils and Pads yesterday in large part because they didn't have this huge mental hole along with the numbers...
Just throwing another angle in here besides the 2-8/8-2 point, i.e deeper looking into why someone is 2-8 or worse...not all 2-8's are the same but Vegas will just keep making suckers take them like on the Dodgers yesterday because if they made the line what it should be, the action would be so overloaded, they'd be at risk...they do want to at least make a small profit but yesterday on the Dodger game they cleaned up...

Oh and you're considering the Padres? Have you looked at their record the last 75 games alone, taking away the first 2 months of the season? Way different and bearing notice...including beating Cleveland on the road twice as +250 dogs, beating the Cardinals in St Louis as huge dogs, beating the Dodgers 3/4 as huge dogs...
And mentally, they've never felt pressure all season, got a great manager, and their opponents are on the bubble to get in like today...
Do you recall many NFL Teams on the Wild Card bubble getting beat in week 16/17 by some 10 point underdog out of it? I do...the season long numbers in those games meant nada...the Pressure meant everything...

Chasing cubbies game 3 Thinking about playing rangers in a double header with hamels pitching game two and a top prospect on the mound game one for braves

Congrats to all on an other great week of beat the sweep!!
Now time for the Huskers to play some good football or what ever team you all follow
The Huskers get put through the combine by....Northern Ill???????
There is no coach more ill suited to a school than Riley at Nebraska. They got so scared by Pelini's antics that they went overboard the other way. What a mess.

System is winding down with teams doing their call ups. Still a solid season at around +140 units. First half was great. Second half a little less profitable, but still in the green. I'll take $14,000 extra in my pocket. Might tweak it a little bit next season for the 2nd half, need to look into the numbers.
