Recap from last week (and weekend)
Tough weekend for me, and really a rough second week. I now find myself in the red for the first time since April of last season. I am not discouraged though, as a number of the games were significant dog plays and ended up being real nail biters (e.g., lost several bets in extra innings or in the last at bat). It's possible I got a little "dog happy" with a few of my cards, but I felt that the lines were compelling at the time.
Of all the wagers I placed last week, I can only think of 1 that I actually regretted putting on and that was the Brewers (Fiers) game on Thursday against the Cardinals. While Fiers did his job, the Brewers have been awful with the bats. Taking the under was probably the better play in that one. Live and learn.
Long season though. Back at it this week. Let's get back on track this week.
