1) The Mets are in NYC. If you do not understand the built in advantages of being in NYC vs. anywhere else you will never see the light at the end of the tunnel and you extreme bias will continue to show.
2) you obviously ignored when i talked about what teams make the playoffs and how the AL central has an advantage of the unbalanced schedule since they avoid playing the highest payroll teams. The AL Central is the weakest of all the AL divisions for various reasons.
3) There are reason the O's don't spend money right now but it is useless explaining that to you because I already mentioned players being under team control and how they keeps their cost down. That flew over your head so its not worth repeating or explaining that concept.
4) The Cubs spent money and it got them nowhere because of RISK (another post that you must have missed). The Yankees can absorb a contract bust but other teams cannot. The Cubs have ravaged their farm system do their the spending and lack of scouting, drafting and developing. They are now feeling the effects.
