16-3 $5435.41 Article #19 I'll get to the game in a second but I just want to share with you something that's been sticking in my craw lately especially... In the Florida/Atlanta game, frst base umpire Adrian Johnson initially calls Mike Jacobs safe and eventually changes his mind to call him out. Ordinarily, this would have been the high road to take IF YOUR INITIAL CALL WAS WRONG AND YOU'RE TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING. But in this case, his initial call was right but he changed it to the wrong one, as a matter of fact, it was grossly out of touch with reality wrong. He made a mistake but was too proud to call it right the third time. I'm calling you out Adrian Johnson, you're a douchebag, shame on you. You have no right umpiring if you miss a play by that much. On the flipside, a lot of kudos and 2 thumbs up to CB Bucknor for being one of the few umpires left who call a game with integrity. Last night's Jays/Yanks game provided me with a lot of entertainment value watching this guy call the guy. Mussina wouldn't budge painting the outside part of the plate and kept missing only he wasn't really missing it but intentionally throwing it in the spot and Bucknor wouldn't budge either calling them for balls. Atta boy! That's how it should be! Nowadays, too many umpires either help the pitcher's cause or just too plain incompetent. I don't think Bucknor missed one call all night. It was fun too watch. Didn´t post about ARTICLE 17, but i respect you a lot Sir Bobby, i was very bussy that day and don´t had too much time for watching the whole game (Tampa vs Boston Under 9.5) so i bet only the first 5 inning (under 5.5)in a huge parlay and was a winner.
