HOnestly it isnt even penalizing Switch....if you are an ump you know what a bases clearing triple looks like. That was deep in the corner and Ludwick was shifted into left center, doesnt matter who is on first that was a bases clearing triple. I dont consider it penalizing a team when it is a fair call. If it was obviously a double and the fan picked it up which I have seen a lot then I understand. But when you watch that play happen, it bounced in the perfect place to bounce into the corner. The ump has to also realize how far slowass ludwick was shifted into the gap.
