Ludwig's back was to the dish, easy base clearing double/tripple.

But the shit that the umpires are pulling the past two years has me taking opinions that the umps should have as little control over personal opinion calls as possible.

I didnt mean to be upsetting/condescending. i was actually trying to avoid that as much as possible and in that regards i even overlooked my typo calling it an 'infield' homerun

also: angel hernandez is a complete jackass, and pretty much singly handedly in this game justified robo-strike zones. both teams got fuzzy zones depending on whos at the plate

LOL, that is exactly what this game is turning into I guess. Naw but on the real I do understand everything you just said. What Im trying to make clear is that if its a close play you have to favor the defense because if he was playing in his normal position he probably would have gotten to that. BUT no way from where he was he was going to get the runner out at home. His back is to the plate he has to turn and ludwick doesnt have the best arm and its from Left Field. If you are the ump and how many games you have seen, you know thats a bases clearing double/triple no matter WHO is on 1st base. If you have to judge the speed of the 1st baseman to make a decision then you have to say its 2nd and 3rd and the runner doesnt score. In that case prince fielder would have scored from 1st...you see what Im saying?

Dont hop on the blame dusty train with the million other riders. This guy brought a dead last place team for like 4 straight years to a winning ball club and ignited this baseball community. They lost in the 1st to a great philly team otherwise they would have made it a little farther that year. And this team is extremely young....
