I have this game at close to TX -110.
 
What am I missing before I lay the wood on the Royals?

Line is way off, books must know texas will turn it around today

I'd assume it's people thinking anti-sweep and that the Rangers big bats can't be shut down a third straight night. I lean to Davies, but leaving this alone. GL

Padilla was good at home last season and it is Sunday. I think Rangers would be the play

You're not missing anything really.  Davies hasn't earned respect from the books yet, so he's undervalued.

He has a miserable career mark in Arlington.  However, I think he's a pitcher on the rise and will gladly take the plus money.

Hard to lay chalk with Padilla and the Rangers the way they've been going lately.

I also had Texas capped at a -110 favorite.  The top 3 starters for the Royals are outstanding! 

Are you looking at anything else today?  Any interest in fading R. Johnson again?

Van - I've actually got this game at Texas -128 but that's because I've got Davies plugged in at 4.83 FIP. He's been great so far this year and he's young enough that perhaps its an increase in skill (although even if he's improved he won't continue at his current rates -- 9.24 K/9 and 2.13 BB/9). I won't be playing a side but I might try the over. GL if you play it.

This thread reminds of the one earlier in the week when not a soul could give you a reason to NOT bet the Fish as a hefty underdog vs. the Braves. I'm guessing no one will be able to sway you off the Royals either.

Oak over 9

Pitt under 8

Bos under 10

KC and STL.

Dont like AZ today, had the game at PK.

Davies is 0-3 in his previous starts in Arlington while compiling an 8.03 ERA and .345 opponent batting average. 

That's the only downside that I could find on this play. Other than that, everything else seems to point to K.C.
