Trout is at it again! All he does is hit an occasional home run, or struck out. The last 5 seasons he has 437 hits with 460 k's. This dude is the most overrated athlete in any sport at any level. Compared with he doesn't care about winning. Anyone can have him on their team. All he will do is struck out. If he keeps playing, when is career ends he will be the all-time struck out leader with around 3K. And around 2200 hits. The only 3K number he will be seeing, will be K's. This dude is so overrated it's hilarious. I'm not saying he's a bad player! I'm saying he's overrated because everyone thinks he's great. AND HE'S NOWHERE NEAR GREATNESS!!! I will keep you Trout lovers updated throughout the season. Trust me, his team will be in last place, and he will be amongst the league leaders in k's. The Angels even pulled him in the 9th inning. This dude is hilarious. Imagine Frank Thomas being pulled opening day. Trout sucks. Watch him throughout the year

1-3, Hr, K. Angels lost. He doesn't care they lost. Get used to losing, again. He could have left the Angels years ago. No one forced him to stay with the Angels. This dude is most overrated athlete in any sport at any level. Today, 1 hit, 1 k. This dude is a joke

At least Trout won't strikeout today! Reason? Because the Angels are off. Lol. I guarantee you he K's tomorrow. People don't realize when the Angels.shut him down last year because of his injury. He was leading the league in strikeouts. This dude sucks and he's the most overrated player in any sport at any level.

You're exactly correct. People don't realize how many times Trout has not produced in key situations to get his team a win. Mike Trout has had numerous situations in his 13-year career where he hasn't produced for his team. Seriously, look at it. In 13 years, his team has been a playoff once. You have to blame him at some point, not the roster. He's had decent players over the years. It's hilarious how much this dude is overrated. Everyone thinks he's great?? Well, great players, have great, signature moments in their career. Mike Trout signature moment is??? Hitting a home run against the Oakland A's in the top of the 4th inning in the middle of July. Once again, he's the most overrated athlete in any sport at any level.

Angels organization has done everything they can to surround Mike Pout with players. Josh Hamilton.. Albert Pujos.. Anthony Rendon.. Shohei Ohtani… probably missing a few big time players.. Angels have spent a lot of money. Trout always gets hurt. Ohtani was like.. I am outta here

The Angels have spent money but never had a competitive roster . . . after his first couple years . . . .Albert was average to below average most of his years there . . . Rendon has been injured and out more than he has played . . . they haven't had a chance in their division with Houston around and now Texas and Seattle . . . . .certainly nothing to do with Trout. Guy is a first ballot hall of famer who plays hard . . .great defender . .great baserunner . . .hits for average and power . . . I know he gets pitched around a bunch in big spots . . so many of his homers may come at other times . . . imagine him with real protection . . .the strikeout deals certainly overstated . . .Ohtani has 686 hits/756 strikeouts into this year......Judge 846 hits/1038 strikeouts......so give me a break with that point Had to figure a thread with Dave chiming in with useless info would be a joke

mark my word, Ohtani and Judge won't be Hall of famers. Judge averages 94 hits a year. Everyone averages 94 hits a year. So does that mean everyone goes into the Hall of Fame. Judge averages 115 K's a year. That's not Hall of Fame material. Ohtani is about to drop off. When Trout retires, he will be the all-time strikeout King with around 3K. Around 2,200 hits. 0 championships, division titles, and playoff series wins. That's not Hall of Fame material. Like I said, I'm not saying he's bad, I'm saying he's overrated. He's not the best baseball player of all time. That belongs to Willie Mays and Greg Maddux. Trout is nowhere near the greatest baseball player of all time. And once again, this season will prove he's not.

I'm sorry about the black italic, I don't know where that came from. You can have Mike Trout on your team, and your team will be in last place. And Trout will be among the league leaders in K's again this year. And his team will be in last place again. He doesn't care, another reason why he's not a Hall of famer. He's not a winner. He could have left the Angels years ago. No one forced him to sign the contract

you want Hall of Fame stats. Judge, Ohtani or Trout is nowhere near these Hall of fame stats. Frank Thomas, 22 years, average 123 hits per year, 70 k's per year, over 500 home runs, over 300 career average. Those are Hall of Fame numbers. Trout is nowhere near these numbers!!! Not even close. Neither is judge or Ohtani.

"never had a competitive roster"?? Wait a minute? He had Ohtani for 6 seasons, and they still didn't win anything! So according to some people, the Angels had the best 2 players in baseball, and yet they didn't win anything. And you want to know why? Because Mike Trout isn't a great baseball player like everyone thinks he is. The biggest problem with Trout is? HE DOESN'T CARE! AND OF COURSE HE STRIKES OUT TOO MUCH. Once again, you can have trout on your team, and you'll be in last place again. He's not a Hall of famer! He's not the goat of baseball. If you're the goat of your sport, you simply win. Lebron, Jordan, Gretzky, Brady, Willie Mays, Greg Maddux, Messi, Ronaldo. What do them guys have in common??? Championships! When his career ends he will have 3K strikeouts with 2K hits. That's hideous numbers. He's the most overrated athlete in any sport at any level

I'm just tired people thinking Mike Trout is the goat baseball!!! He's not, and he's nowhere near the goat baseball. Another reason. Do people realize during his career he hasn't faced Hall of Fame caliber pitchers the way Frank Thomas, Chipper Jones, Tony Gwynn to name a few during their careers? Trout's numbers suck versus Verlander, and Kershaw. He is 5 - 43, 2 RBI, 11 k's versus Verlander. Practically the same numbers against Kershaw. Frank Thomas Tony Gwynn faced Hall of Fame pitchers on a weekly basis and look at their numbers. If Trout faced Greg Maddux, Randy Johnson, Nolan ryan, Kevin Brown, Clemens, Pedro Martinez, Dennis Martinez, Billy Wagner, Trevor Hoffman, Mariano Rivera, Kevin Happier, mussina, cone, Trout would strikeout 600 times a year. He almost does this now facing mediocre pitchers his whole career. Once again, he doesn't care about winning, he could have left the angels years ago just like ohtani did. And he's the most overrated player in any sport at any level.

Just imagine over a 2-week span if Trout had to face Randy Johnson on Monday, Schilling on Tuesday, Maddux on Friday, smoltz on Saturday, Clemens on Monday, Pedro Martinez Tuesday, mussina on friday, Cone on Saturday. He would have about 4 hits, with 24k's. But yet Frank Thomas and Tony Gwynn face these guys over 2 week span, and they did just fine. But noooooooo, everyone thinks Trout is great. Trout strikes out 300 times a year against mediocre, minor league pitchers during his whole career. And when he does face a good pitcher verlander, Kershaw, Max scherzer, he k's. You don't believe me? Look at his stats versus those 3 Hall of Fame pitchers.

Trout versus Kershaw 4-23, 6 k's. Trout versus Verlander 5-43, 11 k's. Gwynn versus HOFer Maddux 109 at bats, .429 lifetime batting avg. 0 k's. Trout versus Maddux, 109 at bats, . 167 avg, 27 k's. Hilarious. Once again, Mike Trout is the most overrated athlete in any sport at any level. He's good, well, he's good against mediocre, Minor League pitchers, but he's nowhere near the goat of baseball like people thinks he is! Watch how many times he'll strike out this weekend.

This is the goat of baseball. 22 years, 660 hr's, 3283 hits, 1526 k's. World Series winner. Willie Mays. Trout won't come close to these numbers. He has 1459 k's right now. At the end of 2024 season, Trout will have 1659 k's in 14 seasons. Hideous numbers.

Judge having 115 k's a year is not bad at all for a power hitter . . . . .and he absolutely will be a hall of famer. . . .guy is a huge run producer and a good defensive player . . . 100% when Trout career ends he will not be a lifetime 300 hitter. And why does Trout stats suck against Hall of Fame pitchers in Verlander and Kershaw. You know he feasts his home runs on mediocre pitchers throughout his entire career. Frank Thomas faced Hall of Fame pictures every week

Willie Mays, 660 home runs, average 70 k's per season for 22 years. And you guys think Judge stats are great. Mays, 3283 hits. A number trout or judge will never see. They will have 1K less hits than Willie Mays when their career is over. And people think trout and judge stats are great. Willie Mays is the goat of baseball. Not Mike Trout like people think he is. Well, all of the young people who wouldn't know a baseball player if they saw one.

Seems like your too personally involved in trouts future place in history. He seems like a decent guy maybe he likes California and he’s a winner because he’s laughing all the way to the bank along with Harper who never seen a DL list he could pass up.But I agree with you he doesn’t stand up when compared to mays Thomas ect.

like I said, I get tired of people thinking Mike Trout is so great and they think he's the goat of baseball. When he's nowhere near the goat. And yes, he does not compare to Willie Mays!! Not in any category. I don't know why people think he is so great??? And I definitely don't know why people thinks he is the goat of baseball. That's my problem with Trout.
