Trout got pulled again?!?!? This is hilarious. For everyone who thinks Trout is the GOAT baseball??? The Angels have played 2 games, and Trout has been pulled both of them. I told you he didn't care about winning!!! I don't want to hear any excuses about his team losing. That doesn't matter. Ken Griffey Jr never left the field. Frank Thomas never left the field. It's their choice. Trout took himself out. What a loser!!!! 2024 stats. 2 hits, 2 k's. 4 weeks from now it will be 15 hits, 30 k's. Lol. That is if he decides to play. He took himself out of opening day and today. What a loser!!!

Hey Mike Trout lovers. Explain to me why he pulled himself in the first 2 games of the season. He don't want to play baseball, all he wants to do is go home and watch the weather channel. Imagine Willie Mays pulling himself in the opening day of baseball season the way Mike Trout did. Imagine Tony Gwynn pulling himself on opening day. Trout is loser of a ball player. I don't want to hear the word goat, Trout, baseball in the same sentence ever again. This dude is hideous. Think about this Trout lovers. It's opening day of baseball season, and he pulls himself. Then in game 2, he pulls himself again. He's making millions upon millions of dollars, and he takes himself out of the first two games of the season. What a loser!

Wow, that didn't take long, Mike Trout with the hat trick. He struck out 3 times today. The first player in the 2024 season to K three times in a game. That didn't take long. He even beat rookie Texas Ranger left fielder Wyatt Langford to this feat. It's utterly amazing that people thinks this guy is the goat of baseball

Mike Trout 2024 season update, 3 games, 2 hits, 5 k's. This dude is one of the worst players in baseball, yet people thinks he's the goat of baseball. He's laughable.

Big Angels fan here... I live here locally and watch a ton of their games.  You might be surprised to hear I agree with a lot you have to say.  I even told a good friend a couple years ago they should trade Trout for some good/great pitchers..  that always has been, and still is their Achilles Heel.  O' what might have been,,,..... but I digress.

I get really frustrated w Trout these days.  He strikes out waaaaaaay  too much as you eluded to,  and it's gotten so bad that I've wondered if  something is off,... like his vision..   His performance has dropped off that significantly. 

Trout has had the habit over the years of always taking the first pitch ( which pitchers have used to their advantage to gain a quick 0-1 count).  I can't tell you how many times Trout fouls off the 2nd pitch, quickly putting him down 0-2 on the count ( again, I come back to the vision issue, because he's missing hittable balls)..  It's game over at that point, explaining lots of K's.  Trust me, this is no secret.  Pitchers are exploiting this  and I  see it nearly every game I  watch w the Angels.

The problem is all those players,  except Shohei, weren't pitchers.   I've mentioned earlier I'm a lifelong Angels fan ( I know, painful).  The big problem is that management doesn't understand the importance of pitching.   

It's like a QB in football ( and pitching in baseball).   If you don't have it , you've got very little chance of success.  Even in his prime, Trout only came up to the plate barely more than 10% (1/9). 

Willie Mays was a great player . . . but he would hit 50 points lower and strike out double what he did facing the stuff of today"s pitchers . . .the velocity increase as a whole and wipe out sliders in game today are far tougher as a whole . . . and batters today don't face the same pitcher four at bats like was common before . . . . .listen to former players and baseball people discuss this and its a huge factor . . .many of the pitchers in Willie's day were plumbers in the off season.....totally different era . . . .Ted Williams has commented on how much tougher modern baseball was for hitters as well as hundreds of others . . . .but keep listening to this dipshit . . . ..strikeouts are up all over baseball for many reasons . . .but the amount of guys on each staff with crazy stuff is one of main reasons . . .the athletes are far superior with modern training and nutrition ...back in the day there might be a couple guys per staff on average with crazy stuff....if that. . . now its usually 10 plus. . . .Trout is a first ballot guy without a doubt . . like mays he is a great base runner and defender . . .and hopefully gets traded to a legit contender so he may get a world series shot . . .but it won't keep him out if he never wins one....

 So you're telling me that LeBron James would score 8 points less per game because the game was different in the 80s and 90s? You could hand check then, and now you can't. Is that the analogy here? Listen, Mike Trout isn't the goat of baseball, that's my complaint with him. If he played in the 70s 80s 90s, and faced Randy johnson, Kevin brown, pedro, clemens, mussina, Mario Rivera, David cone, Trevor Hoffman, roy oswalt, Billy Wagner, Dennis Martinez, Nolan Ryan he would strike out 500 times a year. He strikes out that gets no name pictures right now. He strikes out with water down pitching staffs. 7k's 15 ab's against gio Gonzalez, 5k's 9abs against Nate Jones, whoever that is? 4k's 8 abs versus Jose leclerc. Whoever that is??? 8 k's 10 ab's versus kenley Jansen. 6k's 12:ab's against Alex argondo. Whoever that is?: the list goes on and on. Mike Trout is not a Hall of famer, he's not the goat of baseball, he's not a winner, he doesn't care about winning, he could get traded anytime his career, he takes himself out of ball games. If he faced the pictures from'80s and 90s, he would k 500 times a year. Clemmens was hopped up on steroids, he would strike out Trout just like he did everyone else. Strikeouts are up, because players don't care, they're getting paid millions of dollars. They could care less if they strike out. You can't argue that fact with me. They could CARE LESS if they struck out. George Brett cared if he struck out, Mike Trout doesn't, and it shows game after game, season after season.

 If the pictures are so great nowadays, then how come there won't be another 300 game winner???? How come no pictures strike out over 300 batters in a season anymore?? There will not be another 300 game winner? Maybe verlander, he's trying to hang on to get his, but I doubt it. Once again, if trout played in the '80s, '90s, he would K 500 times per season. When his career ends, he won't be near 3K hits, but he will have 3K strikeouts. If hitters are so great right now, how come no one will reach 3K hits ever again in baseball??? Mike Trout won't come close to 3K hits

How many Hall of Fame pitchers has Mike Trout face in his career? Maybe 2. He strikes out against no name guys. Frank Thomas face Hall of Fame pictures on a weekly basis. Yet he never struck out

 I'm curious. Since you think pictures are so great that are playing right now, how come none of them will be in the Hall of Fame? Verlander, mad Max and Kershaw, and that's it. No more Hall of famers, 300 game winners or 300K strikeouts in a season. Are you telling me Randy Johnson, ryan, clemens, pedro, maddux, smoltz, Trevor hoffman, Mario Rivera couldn't strike trout out because of nutrition. Randy Johnson would strikeout Mike Trout 18 of 20 at bats.

Tony Gwynn, 109 at-bats versus Maddux 0 k's. Mike Trout versus something called Nate Jones, 9ab's 5 k's. That had nothing to do with nutrition. Trout 7 ab's 4 k's versus something called Danny Salazar. 10k's 16 ab's versus Max Scherzer. 6k's 13 ab's versus something called Pat Nesheck. 6 k's 8 ab's versus Carlos Rodon. Trout sucks. He strikes out against Minor League pitchers who we never heard of. I know I know, pitchers are great right now?!?! I'm just wondering how come there won't be another 300 game winner???? I'm wondering how come no pitcher surpasses 300 strikeouts in a season. Once again, I'm not saying Trout isn't good. I'm saying he's not the goat of baseball like everyone thinks he is. But the dude does struck out at a high rate. A much higher rate than other power hitters do. 

Frank Thomas struck out plenty . . .bottom line is both are 300 hitters and very productive . . . there are plenty of guys on track for the hall of fame .....including Cole ....the game has changed so much with not throwing starters as many innings and using multiple fresh arms in the pen . . . the increased velocity is just a fact in general . . .obviously Johnson and some outhouse guys threw crazy hard with great secondary pitches . . .but the amount of guys with the ability to throw 98 -99 -100 is at all time high . . . no doubt nutrition and training techniques are a part of it . . . especially compared to the 40's . .50's ...60's ...when many guys off a pitching staff still worked other jobs in the off season . . . . as many players and coaches have discussed at length don't underestimate how tough it is to face three different and even four different pitchers during a game ....all with velocity and a good secondary pitch or two . . .just different than guys in the 50's and 60's when Mays played . . . the amount of pitchers with great stuff was much lower than what is out there today . . . and the benefit of seeing a guy four at bats is huge .....bottom line is Trout is still a first ballot hall of famer......all time ops leaders Babe Ruth . . Ted Williams . . .Lou Gehrig . . . .12th is Mike Trout . . . in the history of baseball . . . .in the era those guys played in who knows how good his numbers would be ?  Willie Mays . .certainly one of the greatest of all time all around players . . .is 33rd in ops.......so if u want to say a first ballot hall of famer strikes out too much (in era where strikeouts are way up due to not just the depth of pitchers with velocity and seeing so many different guys being a huge part of that) that's fine . . . .but he is one of the all time greats .....i think injuries have hurt him some for sure . . .no doubt . . . . but unless he falls off the table these last years . . .he will go down as one of best all around players ever . . . just like Willie . . . .both great baserunners and defensive players 

He and Willie Mays are very comparable . . . .i see u said before they aren't comparable . . . but they are very similar . . . . Trout plays in an era with much more depth of quality arms he has to face and a variety of different pitchers also with the way pens are used today . . . .Mays dealt with different issues for sure . . .i hate comparing different times ...especially as long ago as the 50's and 60's . . . . and Trout may be overrated by some . . . I don't know . . . i just know his talent and when you are 12th all time in ops that's pretty damn good . . . .no shame in being behind Ruth ..Williams..and Gehrig . . .and 19 spots ahead of Willie ....give the guy a little respect . . . are u honestly saying if the Rangers traded for him you wouldn't be excited to have him in center field ?

 I can honestly say, I don't want Trout on my team, all he would do is strike out in clutch situations, that's what he does with the angels. You said Frank Thomas struck out plenty??? Wrong! Trout has more strikeouts right now than Thomas did in his 22-year career. Big Frank averaged 70 K's per year, Trout averages 105, and that average will go up. And yes, Trout is falling off fast. Another fact, Trout has been playing 13 years, he has 369 home runs, Mays after 13 years, had 501 Trouts best years are behind him. And once again. If he faced the Hall of Fame pictures Frank Thomas faced, Trout wouldn't be anything, he strikes out against minor league mediocre pictures. Imagine if he faced Tom seaver, then Nolan Ryan, then Randy Johnson, then Schilling then Greg Maddox then John Smoltz, then Pedro and Clemens, he would struck out 25 times in that 2 week span. And I'm not counting Mario rivera, Billy Wagner, Trevor Hoffman.
