 Why do I want a guy who in the past five seasons has 437 hits with 465 k's. That's Trout stats. I want someone who can hit the ball, example, Wyatt Langford. The Rangers don't need Trout, and they don't want him. You want to hear some funny? Do you know why he's with the Angels. Because no one has offered this dude a contract. Look it up. No one wants him, truth be known, no one wants him. Behind the scenes, he's not a winner, he's not a leader. How come no other team hasn't offered him a contract? Have you ever thought about that? Trout just struck out tonight, and did precisely what I've been saying... 

Took first pitch for a strike, fouled off the 2nd pitch,.. managed to get to a 2-2 count before striking out on the fifth pitch.

Last year Trout had 104 strikeouts, 81 hits. Frank Thomas is laughing his ass off. Frank Thomas never struck out like this. Just wait till this year. Easy money throughout the whole season the whole season. Over 1 strikeout for Trout. Play it every game. I am, and I'm cashing out

This has to be one of the all time dumbest takes I have ever seen. I honestly thought it was a joke at first but considering how long it has gone on it clearly isn't. Comparing the game today to the game when Willie Mays was playing is incredibly naive. Almost every pitcher coming out of a major league bullpen today has better stuff than 90% of the pitchers when Willie Mays played. This argument with strikeouts....for real? The game has evolved. Now it is about extra base hits and not focused on making contact.  League wide K's are insanely high. That is a league wide thing. Nevermind that the guy is only 32 and is about to break the top 50 all time in WAR. Guy has won 3 MVP awards, Been 2nd in MVP voting 4 more times and top 5 in MVP voting every season he has been healthy. He has been loyal to the team that drafted him in a world where there are few Cal Ripken/Derek Jeter level loyal players left. Saying he hasn't won anything..... for real? One player cant do it alone in baseball. Arte Moreno is one of the top 5 worst owners in sports. What he has done to the Angels roster in Trouts time with them is an all time travesty. When Trout is inducted into the hall of fame(Which he will go in first ballot) he will not only be deserving(he could retire today and make it) he would be in the wing of all time greats with Mays, Ruth, Williams, etc.

This has to be one of the all time worst takes I've seen from anyone, anywhere, about anything ever.

 For the record, Mike Trout for the season so far. 4 hits 6k's. You can have him on your team. And you'll be in last place like the Angels are every year. Why do you think no one has offered this guy a contract???? Behind the scenes he's not a leader, he's not a winner. But I'm curious. What's going to be his induction speech at the hall of fame? He's not a Hall of famer but since you think he is? What's going to be his introduction?  I'm also comparing him to Frank Thomas. I'm also saying if he played in the 90s, he would strike out 600 times a year. Just like if Michael Jordan played right now, he would average 40 points a year game. You say the game is different in baseball, the game is different basketball too. If LeBron played in the '80s, he would score 17 points a game. But what is trout's Hall of Fame introduction. His only accolades or hitting home runs off of mediocre pictures who belong in the minor leagues. No World Series wins, no division title, no playoff wins. What would be his introduction???

 "90% of the guys in the bullpen have nastier stuff than when Willie Mays played". Really? Well then how come none of them guys will be in the Hall of Fame? There's only a few pictures that are playing right now that will be in the Hall of Fame. How come these great pictures who are pitching right now won't get 300 wins? I thought that was goals for pictures? To achieve 300 wins? "It's about extra base hits and not making contact"??? What does this mean? When did baseball change? As far as I can remember, baseball was a team game, and everyone on the team contributed on what they did best. Each team got 27 outs, 3 outs per inning, you can change pictures, change hitters throughout the game. It's the same game being played now as it was when Abner Doubleday invented it. So how's it changed. I will tell you. Players don't care because they are making millions of dollars. They aren't putting forth the effort the way guys did in the 60s 70s 80s 90s. They don't care if they strike out, they're still getting paid their guaranteed contracts. That's only human nature. The game hasn't changed, the players have. And they're not as good as they used to be because they are spoiled brats. But again, that's human nature. 

And I will laugh my ass off at the end of the season when Mike Trout has more k's than hits just like the previous 5 seasons.  Willie mays, Frank Thomas, George Brett, Ken Griffey Jr, Tony Gwynn, guys like that never had more k's than hits. Mike Trout is laughable, and you can have him on your team. All he will do is strike out, hit an occasional home run, and be in last place. Willie Mays first 13 years, 501 home runs, Mike Trout first 13 years 369 home runs. According to you, those are the same numbers. And that's hilarious. Don't worry, I'll keep you informed how many strikeouts Mike Trout has during the season. And it will be laughable

also need to address your point on hall of fame pitchers. You are correct that trout probably has not faced the same amount as others but nobody will. Finances have totally charged how pitchers are handled. They make too much money so they are not pushed to stay in games. Teams have to protect the investment. Im not telling you these guys are as good but that is irrelevant. Different game than it was even 20 years ago. Does that make it worse maybe i do not know and im guessing most of us not in the game dont know

Congratulations to Mike Trout on his major league baseball record. He's the only player in Major League baseball history to strike out 7 times in a row. Tony Gwynn struck out 21 times per season facing Hall of Fame pictures every week so it took Tony about 2 months to strike out 7 times. Trout did it in 24 hours. That's a major accomplishment. That's hard to do. No wonder trout is considered the goat of baseball by many people. That record will be hard to break. Lol

 Who cares about strikeouts? The point of baseball is to get on base. His career On Base percentage is .412. That is top 35 all time. Your fascination with strikeouts is incredibly funny though.

 You are correct, trout has not, and won't face, very many Hall of Fame pictures in his career yet he strikes out 105 times a year against mediocre, Minor League pictures. If you played in the '90s, he would strike out 500 times a year. I don't understand why trout lovers can't understand this. Randy johnson, Clemens, Pedro, smoltz, , Mussina, Ryan, schilling, Kevin Brown, Kevin appier, mariana rivera, Billy Wagner, Trevor Hoffman. Trout strikes out 105 times a year against pictures nowhere near this caliper. Imagine Trout facing Randy Johnson?? Anyways, you are correct. He hasn't faced Hall of Fame pictures and he still strikes out at a high rate
