Dan Haren Statistics 2009: Pre ASB: 130 IP, 2.01 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, .189 BAA, 129 K Post ASB: 31 IP, 4.94 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, .250 BAA, 24 K
Career: Pre ASB: 651 IP, 3.08 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, .225 BAA, 539 K Post ASB: 507 IP, 4.17 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, .277 BAA, 426 K
If anyone buys into first/second half pitchers...here's one to fade for the rest of the year. Especially given that TERRIBLE offense, with their best or 2nd best hitter (depending on who you think is better between Reynolds and lil Upton) out.

Would point out that Arizona has not announced if the game is open or closed. This is unusual and I wish you had bet less. GL
tuck...what you mean "if the game is open or closed"...do you mean the roof? and what influence do you figure that decision has on the expected outcome of the game?

Game with all due respect bro, do you feel in the least that this big play in the midst of a slump might be a chase ? I hope you hit it.
I have made approximately 200 plays of 2 units or more...I don't consider this a chase or desperate measure...it's 2.75 units.....in addition, I believe I am over 60% on my 2 or more unit plays. It could easily lose but I laid out the reasoning and think it is strongly supported.

Sorry I've been away for so long Game. Had some things that needed my attention. Love the write up! Will be all over the Dodgers tonight....GL!
Here is you Chapstk Sports Movie Quote of the day:
[Larry jogs out to the mound to break up a players' conference] Larry: Excuse me, but what the hell's going on out here? Crash Davis: Well, Nuke's scared because his eyelids are jammed and his old man's here. We need a live... is it a live rooster? [Jose nods] Crash Davis: . We need a live rooster to take the curse off Jose's glove and nobody seems to know what to get Millie or Jimmy for their wedding present. [to the players] Crash Davis: Is that about right? [the players nod] Crash Davis: We're dealing with a lot of shit. Larry: Okay, well, uh... candlesticks always make a nice gift, and uh, maybe you could find out where she's registered and maybe a place-setting or maybe a silverware pattern. Okay, let's get two! Go get 'em.

It's no secret we don't see eye to eye on capping style, but I wanted to stop by and personally wish you good luck on you're wager this evening.
As for RedZone, you need some serious help. You need to learn a little humility and you need to learn the name of this game before randomly spatting off at the mouth. You see when you do things like that it's very apparent what kind of person you are, and what you truly know about this world of sports wagering.
It's not just guys like RedZone but there are tons of people like him that don't get the big picture of this game. Realistically, if you just started following GH you've lost maybe 20 units since break. Understandable why you may think he sucks. However, this is a daily grind 363 days a year, if you're in this game SERIOUSLY you need to be in it for the long haul. If you're just a weekend gambler you should just have fun with it and take the wins and loses with a grain of salt. If you're in this 363 days a year you would know that even if GH burns another 30 units to his current total (I don't foresee that) but he had a season of up over 30 Units and to players who wager 500-1000 a unit he's had a great year. To those who wager just 100 a unit they would find themselves up over 3000. The point is you have to stick with guys and follow them through the warm and the cold. You can't pick and choose, you're either in or you're out. You can't have you're cake and eat it too in this business. You can't get the thrill of going on a streak of hitting 70% over a 3 week span if you can't get past the pain of going 2-6 one week. If you're in this game 363 days a year these are the things you will have to go through. Mentally, you need to be strong. Theres no need to specify my age, but I'm younger and can tell you most people my age don't gather these concepts. For the 18-21 year old kids that say "Hey I like Sports" and have played them all my life think this is an easy transition. ITS NOT! Money management is the key to this game if you're in it for the long run and just by GH opening statements before giving out his play it's the signs of a true sports wagerer.
There are plenty of people who can pick winners. The reason they extinct themselves is the lack of discipline with their funds. If you're in this game 363 it means you have a concept of how to do that. As long as you're winning more than you're losing that is the name of the game and something that is very evident GH does each and every year. That is what one truely is based on each month, and those winning months turn to winning years. You will go on streaks of losing 3-4 days in a row when you do this everyday now and then. It's the name of the game. Just like the stock market, if you're stock is up 3 points on monday, down 2 points on tuesday, down 3 points on wednesday, up 4 points on thursday, up 1 point on friday, down 2 points saturday, and up 3 points on sunday you've had a solid week up 4 points. The difference is most people don't watch their stocks daily thus the mental grind is not associated. Sports wagering is different it gives you the excitement and thrill of victory, and the downfalls of losing daily because you are paying close attention, but the concepts are still the same.
So before you spat off at the mouth RedZone and others, get an idea of what this game is really about. It truly shows when comments like that are made who really are the people still extremely wet behind the ears.

Thank you WiseGuys. My philosophy is we're still all here to try and help one another. Not sure why certain guys hate on others, but it is what it is. Thanks for the good words.
