SEASON: 50-54, &#x2B;7.8875 Petrocellis&#xD;&#xA;YESTERDAY: 2-6, -5.6375 unitsA tough day. That Dback bullpen is a mess and Aaron Heilman has been horrible. Not how I wanted to finish the week, but I guess I should be happy that I still showed a 0.3175 unit profit for the week.Early game 11:05am EST start:RED SOX -170 (0.75 UNITS)RED SOX -1.5 RUNS (&#x2B;128) (0.75 UNITS)It&#x27;s kind of like a blended -1 run play but my amounts are slightly different. If the Sox win by 1 run, I break even.

It&#x27;s really a play on the Red Sox -1 run. If they win by 1 run, I breakeven. If they flat out lose, it&#x27;s as if I layed -118.

GH - I respect your knowledge and handicapping ability 100% but this Boston play has me scratching my head - you are laying 170 which means in this matchup you think that Boston goes 100-60 - NO WAY!

but how do you rationalize the math in order for these 2 correlated plays to make you money over the long run

seems like these are more of "general public" hunch plays bc they are the mighty Red Sox and wont get swept by the Devil Rays

I usually understand all your plays but this one makes no sense to me - what am i missing?
