just think
We are only less than a month away from "This game is fixed!"
So I don't consider myself a good baseball capper by any stretch of the imagination. But something I've been wondering lately is regarding team totals. Would there not be less variance and easier to cap a team total instead of a side? Just capping one sides batters vs pitcher(s). So if you like a lineups chances against a pitcher bet a team over, F5 or game. If you like a pitcher take the opposing teams under, and there's no run support necessary to get the W.
So you bet a team over 4.5 and they go into the 9th up 5-1. You no longer care that they inexplicably allow 5 runs and lose cause your bet has already cashed. I'm not in a position to say why or why not this would be effective but curious what others think.

I pretty much gave up on day to day mlb betting. I don't know how you can predict a sport so long with so much in season variance. I only really bet futures, occasionally series and occasionally some pitching matchups.

@bringit
I think this is a better way to go than ML in baseball TBH. It's a little easier to predict totals. ML is the worst imo for regular season baseball unless it's an underdog. I'd consider run lines, totals, or team totals.

The only team I'd even consider betting ML - in baseball is against the white sox right now lol but usually you're laying over -200 against them which i still think isn't worth it.

Sox opponents are 15-5 RL, -1.5, last 20. Those odds are considerably better, even money to -125 or so on average.
