Angels: I don’t think it is a secret the BoSox are struggling with left handed pitching (among other things), but the situation may be more serious than some folks think. They are just 6-7 overall and currently producing only 2.4 offensive earned runs per 9. Given that Santiago is superior to Miley (73/63.8) and the Angels hit lefties as well as righties I think we have a false favorite here, but as long as the public loves the Red Sox and HFA that will be the case.

Twins: I know some of you guys were really shaky about going against Sale yesterday, but what I said about the Twinkies pounding left handed pitching came through for us and they are now 14-5 in that category. 74% is awfully high in any category but in versus lefty-versus righty it is off the charts, as is run production of almost an earned run per inning. Nothing against Quintana, he is a heck of a chucker and a guy I like to back in the right spots, but he still is not in Sales class and the pitching deficiency here today with Gibson is less than it was yesterday with May.

Note to the newer guys: One thing you need to understand is that on Sunday Church and Family are my highest priorities and literally nothing will be allowed to interfere with either. Sometimes posts will be much later or I may even take the day off. Just want you to know who I am and where I am coming from. I may be around to chat quite a bit today because we had a family birthday party yesterday and tomorrow is a holiday (another long day on the grill for grandpa), but sometimes on Sunday I do not get back at all, all day.
