Twins: I don’t know what bettors track or have faith in; maybe trends, maybe the media, maybe mythology or karma, but apparently they don’t track the performances of major league baseball teams. Mark Buehrle looks to me like a big old plump Mallard duck swimming right up to the duck blind of the Twins, where they are sitting with shotguns cocked and ready. The Twins are now 15-5 versus left handed starters, have won 11 straight, and 15 of their last 17 versus lefty. If I were Buehrle (or any other lefty for that matter) I would suddenly develop a case of intestinal flu, since I am ready to crap my pants anyway. In the 11 straight wins the Twins have knocked out the starter in an average of just 4.2 innings with 4.82 offensive earned runs on the board. That is a phenomenal 9.35 offensive earned runs per 9 innings, far and away the best run production margin in the major leagues.
Angels: The Tigers have a nice offense for lefties when they are producing, but are just 3-3 their last 6 and popped C.J. Wilson for just 1 earned run in 6 innings last night for his second best start of the season. This team is not clicking and Santiago has it all over Sanchez in most important categories. We also need to remember that the tough hitter’s parks of the West Coast also tend to be lefty oriented parks as the prevailing winds are normally from the West, as they are expected to be tonight.
Indians: Another disappointing season in Seattle and Walker is a big part of the disappointment. Bauer is doing much better and the Indians offense has come around, winning four of their last five versus righty and producing 11.1 offensive earned runs per 9 innings in that span.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

We're in the middle of a classic June Gloom weather pattern here in Southern California which as means light winds out of the west every evening as the offshore marine layer rolls in. At the Big A, that means light winds blowing out to right field. Spot on analysis Key!
