I will no longer be doing any Totals this season. I do not have anything worth putting out in totals. It's been a real crapshoot with those. 

I'll be back later today if I have anything with the H/A Team Runs prop. It's currently (2-0) since I put it under my microscope.

I have the Home Teams with a small advantage today. Only a small (+15) rating. I only bet $100 on them, if the rating was higher I was going to bet $200.

 Are Your ML and RL records mostly from the same game? For example, if Dodgers win by 2 or more today, then you are 1-0 on both records. If Dodgers win by 1, then you are 1-0 on ML and 0-1 on RL. Anf if Dodgers loses, then you are 0-2 on both records.

I only have 8 games this season where my pick has won by 1 run. That's out of 121 wagers. Almost all my wagers since June have been on the runline. Due to juice, I only wager on runline. I keep both records because the model only recognizes a Win. That's why I keep a ML record also. 

Every wager I've made in August has been runline.  Now watch the Dodgers win by 1 tonight. 

I've had an 11 game Win streak this month. I'm now on a 3 game losing streak, which ties the longest on the season. Their has been no 4 games losing streaks on the season.

You ever considering playing -1 RL? Would that better your take home winning?

Sure Joe, I play that often, early in the year. Right now the lines are still too high. Your looking at Dodgers -1 (-190) today. Thats a -/even bet. 

My model should hit around 62% on the runline and puckline, this is where the best profits are. 

Hitting 62% against a (-120) line is better than 70% against a (-200) line.

You just can't pay that juice day in and day out. There are a lot of new guys here that don't get that. Guess what, they will get it or they won't be around to be an old guy.

Nah i ran your typical plays through my calculator, you are better off playing -1.5 RL, since most of your plays are -250 ML / -120 RL

Just  looking through my Power Numbers today, here is what I would consider a very good Value wager. 

Mets -1 (+140) 

I have the Mets (+12) over the Phillies tonight but I'm not betting them. I'm not a large volume Value bettor. But if I were, I'd be on this game. 

And besides I'm a lifelong Braves fan, so I'll be pulling for Philly tonight.

Let's use my Power Numbers and the current lines at Draftkings to project the World Series.

Let me tell you some great bets and some terrible bets. 

Great Bet

Cardinals at (30 to 1)

Terrible Bet

Toronto at (17 to 1)

In my Power Numbers model opinion, the Cardinals have a much better chance to win the World Series than Toronto. Yet the odds show Toronto with the better odds. 

I think the Cardinals are worth betting at those odds. 

Now guys that does not mean I'm saying the Cardinals are better than the Dodgers or Mets. It means they have more Value right now. In my opinion. 

Think I'll keep digging and looking at things. And I just might bet a little on the Cardinals to win it all.

Here is some more opinions.

Mets, built to win this. Fewer weaknesses than anyone else. Max, DeGrom, Bassit and then Diaz. Nobody tops that. 

Braves, defending champs, great organization, setup this year and the next few.

Dodgers, best over 162, best lineup. But no Buehler or Kershaw. You riding with Gonsolin, Anderson, Urias and Kimbrel. 

Houston, only AL team that can win it. They have enough but the World Series stays with the NL. 

Cardinals, Goldschmidt and Arenado, what two you got. Sentimental choice. This will be great television. Not enough pitching. But great odds.

Yankees, Judge and please let's hit some homers. Not getting Castillo was a crusher. 

Phillies, Bryce coming back will be massive. Wheeler and Nola ain't bad. 

Cleveland, gritty as hell. 3rd best team in Central but will win it.

Seattle. Very nice young team. Castillo is a beast and can beat anyone at anytime but sadly no one else can. 

Toronto, as they say in Texas, all hat and No cattle. They have flash but no substance. 

Padres, softest team I've ever seen. May even miss playoffs. 

Damn am I bored today.

I'm bored, let's look at the only day game. 

My Power Numbers model has this almost a tossup. Milwaukee (+5) and that means nothing. Cubs are at home, playing on a Friday with the advantage in starting pitchers and a lineup full of right handed bats. 

I am not betting this game but If I were a large volume Value bettor, I'd be on. 

Cubs -1 (+180)

That is where I see the most Value in this one.

Here is a tip for you new guys. With a posted Total of 9.5 or higher and you can argue 9. The correct play will always be on the runline. Whether it's (-1) or (-1.5).. Your better off with those odds. 

The wrong play is 

Cubs +1.5 (-140) this is a terrible bet with a posted 10 total. If u learn one thing, learn this. 

The correct play on this one with the home team and a posted 10 total is.

Cubs -1 (+180)

That's if you like the Cubs and considering everything, this game is a toss up, almost that is.
