Someone who watched the series.... Do the Indians even belong?

They were up 2-1. Are they pretenders or contenders. 

I know everyone wants to pick the favorite with the juice but seriously, how did they take 2 games?

Judge is essentially a non-factor and might as well be a bat boy at this point. What about the pitchers tonight?

Bettors are being 'set up'.

Game 3 ....consensus on Yankees. Bottom of the 9th, Yankees ahead by 2 runs. They blow the lead and lose game 3. Vegas cashes in.

Game 4....consensus on the Guardindians. Bottom of the 9th, Yankees ahead by 2 runs, this time they hold the lead. Vegas cashes in.

Game 5....almost everybody and their grandmother is on the Yankees. The Yankees will blow the game, Vegas will cash in yet again. Mark my words.

Oh, did I forget to mention the Packers 'somehow' lost to the Jets yesterday ?

Ya this may be a fade the public play today. I got suckered in to Manchester city yesterday and I just knew I was screwed after piling it on them.

hi, on certain games i totally agree with this reasoning BUT what about the MLB organization? the Yankees franchise? they are huge budget organizations they also have their own interests.

Cleveland is a small team without a big fan base or interest by the general public compared to the Yankees so the MLB has no benefit having them advance, they already lost the Dodgers which i reckon is the other most popular team of the league so i guess they would greatly prefer have the Yankees win, but as "Vegas" interests go of course "Vegas" would prefer have Cleveland win since everybody is on the Yankees; so all this to say if there is really some kind of inluence or coercion between sports leagues and some "Vegas" secret cartel who has the upper hand in this kind of situation?

and when people talk about the possibility professional sports games are fixed....we have someone quickly trying to quickly debunk the whole idea.

Dude, it's all about money. Crime and corruption is where the money is. The sports betting bookies would not be in this business if they were not making money.....and to make money the odds need to be stacked in their favor.

No sports betting operation is going to continue to pay out winners. They need losers to keep the money rolling in. 

And no sports betting operation is going to let us waltz in, make an easy and for sure bet....and let us waltz away with free money.

The Guardians are one of the weakest hitting teams I've ever seen in the playoffs. This team can't hit at all. They're still in this series because they have an excellent manager. The Yankees are a very poor fundamental team. They strike out too much. They don't move men over. They ground into too many double plays because they're a very slow team. Houston will drill either one of these teams.

 One guy will get a hit and the next 3 will flame out and inning over. Indians just can't get hot when they need the bats flying.

They’re def contenders. Much better than what they’ve shown but they seem to tighten up vs Yanks. If they win this series, won’t be similar with Houston. The matchup changes everything. Look for Overs in that series Guardian/Astros… otherwise, Houston will own NYY once again

Doubtful theres over in a guardians astros series. Under was 4-2 with an average of 7.1 runs per game in their series. Both pens strong and starters strong

 100% This. This is a trap game with a slight edge on the Yankees, meaning the juice is not at -250 so players get value, game 5 at home under the Yankee lights, everyone is hitting it. Which means Vegas likely thinks the opposite. 

Anyone who thinks Vegas/Books/Team Owners/The Mob are not ALL in on making money in whatever way they can without getting arrested is a fool. Do you trust wall street traders to be prudent and not abuse information? Just like Nancy Pelosi? Its ALL about the money ALWAYS. All tips, rumors, injuries, Umpires sex lives, profit margins on one team moving forward versus the next are ALL understood and under wraps. 

Getting a Yankees Astros series will be profitable for their fans but not their ratings, everybody hates the astros everybody hates the Yankees. I beleive the Indians win, upset, big story, Yankees go down, people tune in for the underdog next series.

Tallion gave up 2 runs thus giving the Indians the W game 3 in NYC. I don’t know why Boone decided to use him in that situation instead of Schmidt.. Very poor managing. Tallion doesn’t deal with pressure very well and the pressure will be on him at Yankee stadium this evening as THAT particular ballpark is merciless.. His future with this team depends on how well he pitches tonight. If the Indians score first it may be over for the Yankees because they’re more than likely going to defeat themselves by over-managing as usual. Lot of jobs at stake here tonight for the Yankee organization. I’m on the Yankees but I would love to see them lose tonight.  2 all.

Civale is the x factor tonight imo. How he pitches will go a long way for the outcome. 

Not even sure the Yankees have a better offensive roster. Outside of Judge, no one really consistently hits, especially with no LeMahiieu, no one steals bases, hit and run is a non-factor because of all of the strikeouts.

Civale gets his preferred catcher in Hedges, while Tailon does not with Trevino. If I were Boone I'd start Higashioka.

All though the leash will probably be short for both starters. Expect a shit show of pitching changes.

Yankees pen is taxed and suspect at the moment. 

Should be an interesting game 5. Gut wants the Yankees to see another rematch with Houston. However, something tells me Guardians/Indians win with manager and bullpen advantage. No way I'm trusting Taillon in series ending game either, especially with how Guardians hammered him out of the bullpen the other day. Hard to believe Boone is going with him.

 well said excellent post!! im on them as well but played the totals heavier. i think yanks bats are hitting tonight. i like him moving judge and IKF out. hopefully Boone doesnt over manage bullpen again. Time for judge to earn the bacon tonight. i got yanks TT over 4.5 at +125, over 4r top five at +100 . Hammered. 3 hits, 2 runs, 2 Earned runs. Couldn't record an out. I'd say that is hammering him yes. However you want to justify it is up to you. 

how do u compare this year’s packers to the yankees?? come on now stay on course at least.
