The Padres will Beef Up Win total ..Come Late July most will look at standings and wonder how this team is so good..with the Giants and D-Backs rebuilding this team will look like Baseball Gods ...Really don’t think they’ll do very good in postseason ..to another great year new_grin!!

I’m jumping on the Under on the padres team total when it settles down, they are no where close on the level of the Dodgers or Rockies so right off the bat they are playing for 3rd place, Giants are probably still a little better right now and if they get Harper, they’ll be much better, plus they get the AL East in interleague with Seattle so that’s a pretty tough set up there, love their young talent but I think they struggle to play .500 this year with that terrible rotation

So Manny Machado stays in the California region & signs a contract with the San Diego Padres for $300,000,000 over 10 years, $30,000,000 per yr. how the Hell can anyone support a Family on that kind of salary these days?an_timeout

Padres just throwing money away. GM will be fired shortly after the end of the season

Machado is still a good infielder, but don't expect to much hitting. Watched him strike out yesterday and he wasn't even looking at the ball as he missed it. I think they paid way too much for Machado, watched him play a lot for the Dodgers.
