thought of this... when G8RB8 brought up Kevin Bacon's character in SLEEPERS......hated that guy

not so much an evil guy.....like Darth Vader....Hannibal Lector....but a great acting job that creates a character that you can't WAIT to see get killed....

here's a few that come to mind....

Dwight Yoakum ....as Doyle Hargraves in Slingblade

Joaquin Phoenix as Commudus in the Gladiator

that box Percy (prison guard) in the Green Mile

Gene Hackman as Lil Bill in the Unforgiven

that Nazi General in Valkyrie.....Bill Nighy i think

 Bob Gunton as Warden Norton in Shawshank

Chris Klein was a douche in that movie too.

Amanda Peet in Saving Silverman - God was she a bitch in that!

Mark Wahlberg in any movie where he acts like a tough guy (basically all his movies)

I hated John Malkovich's character in Knock Around Guys. He tried to talk with an accent, but it was more annoying than convincing.

That movie was garbage...Mystic River sucked too.

Me too!  The character I always hated the most in a movie is: Sgt. Barnes as played by Tom Beringer in "Platoon."  In a character that I have always hate most in a television show is:  Janice as played by Maggie Wheeler in "Friends."  Her voice was enough to make me jump out of a ten story building.
