when Joe Bonamassa was 12yrs old he was playing venues Syracuse/CNY and good professional players would say the kid was going to be something.Called himself Smokin'JoeBonamassa.

A friend told me something similar, that he had played with BB King as a youngster. I'm not a huge blues fan but this guy is fun to watch.

Did not see mention of this guy (not sure if I missed it). This guy absolutely shreds on a guitar he is most amazing. He needs to be in this thread.

Well, Rolling Stone has him rated # 57 all time on the top 100 greatest guitarists list, so you might want to have a word with them. Personally, I scarcely knew the guy. He was barely known in the States.
