I agree Chamillionare is very underrated and doesn't get much hype, but that's usaully the case. the best rappers are usually too complex for the general public too comprehend and therefore don't get the radio play or publicity. Canibus and Guru of Gangstarr, GZA, are just a couple who never got the radio play because they were just too deep! The general public loves these weak ass so called rappers like souljah boy, Chingy etc because they are commercial pop! To be honest Jay-z and NAS are washed up. They were great years ago but no longer! I never considered Biggie one of the greatest because he didn't have enough material out there to be considered a Legend! Yes, He had 2 great albums but that's it!!! In my opinion, the greatest rapper alive today is Immortal Technique or Vinnie Paz of Jedi mind Tricks. Another vote here for Eminem as best alive today.

2pac and Biggie prob 2 best ever.   Gangstar, Cypress, Too Short, Slick Rick, Beastie Boys, Run also get my votes for some of the best of all time.  Never bought into the Nas hype and don't see the Chamillionare guy as anything special, but haven't heard much of him to be honest.

Rap today just isn't close to what it used to be or maybe I'm just getting old hahaha.

You should be banned from listening to rap if you think Chamillionaire is even in the top 500 of all time let alone #1.

The guy is a joke and his metaphors are 'cute'.  Anyone who uses that many metaphors in a song is trying way too hard and has no real poetry or flow.
