-Clutch, I liked ETID. . . I liked them more when I wasn't watching the goofy video though, and just listened to the music.
Second, I liked a lot of the Cog stuff I heard last night. . .
monte - go here for Ashes Divide. The Stone was the song I was talking about that I heard earlier this week. I've heard it at least 5 times now, and I like it more and more.
Anyone listen to Bullet For my Valentine? It sounds like 80's thrash. There's better songs than the one I linked, but that's the gist of it.
New 7dust tomorrow
Also a new Henry Rollins spoken word CD if anyone is interested. . . I love that stuff.

G8RB8 - I like the few tracks I've heard from Bullet For My Valentine. Probably gonna be one of my next purchases. Ashes Divide sounds pretty good. Not a huge Se7endust fan myself but will check out the new album.
Just bought Nonpoint - Vengeance after checking out the link you posted. Pretty good stuff. Also bought Atreyu - Lead Sails Paper Anchor which is decent and Hawthorne Heights - If Only You Were Lonely which really isn't my style but is ok I guess.

Atreyu is one of those bands that I think I should like, but I'm just not really sure if I do. Avenged Sevenfold is in that category too. For some reason I haven't been able to decide on those two bands no matter how much I hear from them.
Contrarily, Bullet for my Valentine is a band I'm not sure I should like, but I just can't help it. It's rather simple, a little gimmicky, but damn it just works for me. Go figure I guess. Their first major album "The Poison" was really solid, way more than I thought it would be. The newest one "Scream, Aim, Fire" I like a lot too, but it's tough to match the first one.
The new 7Dust album is good. Not great, not bad, but just good. There's a couple songs on there I like a lot, but otherwise it's just decent. I'll just be happy that they are touring again to tell you the truth. Then again, I've only had it for a day and haven't fully digested it yet, but there were only a few songs that stuck out.
Glad you liked Nonpoint, their first album Statement was probably the best overall. Vengeance is the second best though, the stuff in between isn't nearly as good except here and there. At least with Vengeance they are showing a lot of promise again. I was about to give up on them ever really making something close to Statement.
