Down 12, I'll take it.

 

Orlando shooting 61% and have 11 treys already.  I'd expect to be down by this many if you would have told me before hand this was what was going to happen in the 1st half. 

Good news...Portland is one of those places where the home team can get rolling and it completely snowballs.  I in no way expect Orlando to stay this ridiculously hot...it's just a matter of whether or not Portland heats up.

13/20 from beyond the arc.  This bet is toast.  Orlando putting the game out of reach by having the best night of three point shooting they've had all season against the best team in the league at defending the three.

Orlando is going to win this game... but let me put it to you this way... if they had shot even a VERY GOOD 50% from the field and beyond the arc.. they would only have 87 points right now and would be losing by 6.

Were only a few weeks into the season.. my models will kill the books in the long run.  There's going to be odd statistical games like tonight that throw a wrench into things.  But I'll just get em back tomorrow.  By the end of the year, the books won't know what hit em.

If it wasn't for Orlando shooting 59% from the field and beyond the arc.. Portland would have won and covered with ease.  Sometimes shit happens you just can't predict.  I guess you could say I fell for this trap.  1-1 on the night.

si1ly I dont believe in traps or conspiracy theories. Your analysis was spot on but Orlando just shot out of this world, way beyond their season average. We saw in the 4th when they came back to Earth what happened. I give kudos to Orlando but I believe you were spot on with your analysis and didnt fall for any trap. It was just one of those nights for Orlando.
