GM Bob Myers also recently spoke on Wiggins’ absence from the team stating that the organization does not believe he will miss the rest of the season, but that they are giving him the time he needs to sort things out.
I think that phrase “sort things out” rules out a family illness, because an illness (which is what I initially thought it might be and would fully excuse his extended absence) is not something that can be sorted out. Of course that still leaves open many other possibilities, but I’m leaning towards some kind of marital issue, which is something that can indeed be “sorted out.” If this is the case, it’s amazing that the Warriors are giving him this much time to “sort things out” as their season goes down the drain. I would think something like this would be unprecedented in a league where so many players are philandering on a nightly basis in cities far way from home. And some of the wives, I’m sure, are also taking advantage of the situation. Can you imagine Dr. J, in his heyday, when he was not only dunking the ball through the hoop but also dunking his balls through another kind of hoop, taking extended time off to “sort things out” with his wife. Or how about Wilt?!
Anyway, I certainly hope this is not the reason this guy, who is being rewarded handsomely for his missed performances, is being coddled in this way, and that there is some better, more compelling, reason for his absence. Because if this extended absence is about “infidelity” then the entire league needs to go on leave. 
.. He is a bad fit with the Splash Bro's and cannot be played when they are not the court together as he does not pass the ball and play team ball...He is a 1 man offense...Paying him $35 Million to come off the bench..
..Draymond and Korver are up for extensions..as well. No way can you have Poole and Curry as your back court next season is guess they give Korver another max extension at his age....
