Was just watching that game live..... It blows my mind how ANYONE with a fully functional brain doesnt recognize a fix/manipulated/influenced game when its right there in front of your face.
Cha fouls with 15 seconds left....to put the celtics at the line.
Celtics hit both free throws to go up 11.
Bobcats inbound the ball down the court to a wide open uncovered bobcat player....now this shot is the most crucial shot of the game.... As it directly affects the total, the spread, and the 2nd half spread as well....
And what do the bobcats do....? They pass up a wide open uncontested 3, an easy uncontested lane to the basket, and for some reason the losing team dribbles out the clock, negates the free points, and calls it a night..... My question is why!?!?!?!
The people who dont believe in fixes will always have an excuse to defend their purist view.
" oh he didnt shoot it because it wasnt going to affectvthe outcome, he wanted to hit the showers"
Yet if he hit the free basket these same people would say..
" the game was out of hand, these guys want to pad their individual stats.... Unexpect them to just give up???"
The proof is right there in front of ur face, most of you are just too blind to see it.
In my career of sports betting i have seen the losing team dribble out the clock prob 5% of the time, maybe even less. Ive never seen a losing team refuse to chuck up a free wide open uncontested shot/layup to close out a game.
Never.

If you wanted to get out of the building..... Why foul the celtics and send them to the line to cover? Why not let them dribble out the 15 seconds and go home??
You foul, send them to the line, and then the losing team runs out the clock!?!?
Never even trying to score?
Not even an attempt???
I feel like you have to be a botched labotomy patient to not see this. There is literally no logical explanation

My point is this an i agree with u. If the game is out if reach then why foul down 9 15 sec left if ur not gona attempt a shot. If ur fouling thats means u think u still have a chance. Am i wrong? That ending made no sense and it affected all the gambling world

i was wondering why they fouled too, only to see what the o/u total was at. alot of places were 189 opening, i dont know where it ended up at but if they really wanted to blow it way over they would of made the last 2 points.

Clearly the game was not supposed to go over.

You are an idiot. The bobcats had just scored a meaningless basket. Why even score that basket if it was a fix? They fouled because the African guy is an idiot who does not know wtf he is doing and he fouled.
Please make sense if you want to contribute to this thread.

And what if Charlotte dribbled up for a quick lay up and then perhaps Boston stuffs it for an easy basket right after... You'd still be crying about Boston doing the same Charlotte did.
The game was over... No point in padding your own stats when your down by double digits and theres less than 10 seconds to play...
Get a clue man.

These multi-millionaires are going to risk there careers so this game stay under?? All your morons who think games are fixed are so laughable-- who do you think wants these games to to go a certain way? Vegas wanted the chalk Celtics to cover your saying? If it was supposed to stay under why did charlotte foul in the first place- just because you lose doesnt mean it was fixed

So who do you believe is behind this fixing? Ownership betting against his own team? Do you think the whole game was predetermined before tip-off?
I'm just not sure what you're getting at man.
Are you thinking every NBA game is predetermined?
Thats the question no one can answer.
I dont think every game is fixed, but im not blind.
Im not a moron, ive been doing this everydaynfor the last 14 years of my life, i know a fix when i see one.
But if i were to honestly answer ur question with the best of my intelligence i think every game is different. I ddont think that the nba is a secret cult and everyone is in on the fixes. I dont think every game has a script. I think some games it could be a player, other games it could be a coach, but for the most part i think it officials. If u think about it officials have a free winning lottery ticket everytime they call a game. If you are a corrupt official you basically have access to an unlimited amount of money.
I really have no explanation has to whose in on every game..... I just know that fixing/shaving is real.

What's even funnier is your so convinced its fixed but yet you still bet on it-- If you believe the finish to already be pre-determined why in the hell would anyone but a moron risk money on that game??? What we have here my friends is a damn fool

See this exactly what i said someone like you would say.
Let me ask you this.....and please answer honestly.
1) how many times have you seen a losing team in the nba/college dribble out the clock? If you were toput a % on it. Do you think its 50/50?
I mean me personally id say the losing team attempts a shot there 99.5% of the time....and whether he hits the shot or not, the results will always be the same if the game is out of hand. If the shot is made, winning team inbounds and runs out the clock. If the shot is missed, winning team rebounds and runs out the clock.
Id really like you to put a % on the losing team running out the clock.
I saw cleveland make a layup last night with 1 second left down 27 against the lakers to cover the 2nd half over..... Undont think those clev guys wanted to go home.
The fact the youre telling me to get a clue kinda shows how dumb you are...becuase whether u agree or disagree with a game being fixed you know everything im saying is 100% true.

1) stop saying i lost. I won. I was on under 191 as i stated earlier.
2) how is a multimmillionaire going to risk anything by shaving points....its damn near impossible to prove.
3) do you realize tim donaghy is not a fictional character. Hes real. You do realize thAt he openly admitted in influencing over 52 nba games. Before he got caught i was saying that refs fix games.....im sure u were one ofnthose people called me an idiot. Do you think he was 1 out of 18000 us officials that have manipulated a game? He was the only one.
